Dragon Ball Super introduced many new characters to Akira Toriyama’s long-running Dragon Ball series. Many of these characters are strong and powerful, rivaling some of the series’ most iconic fighters. The assassin Hit is one of the most unusual characters to appear in Super.

Hit, the ultimate contract killer in the alternate universe of Universe 6, is a thousand-year-old assassin. He has never failed a contract and is known for his legendary reputation for striking his targets with one blow. His uncanny ability to find his opponents’ vital points makes him the most famous contract killer. Hit was able to defeat Goku and the Z Fighters several times and was eventually crowned the strongest single fighter of Universe 6 prior to Kale and Caulifla merging into Kefla. Hit makes his debut during the Tournament of Destroyers. This is a battle of champions between Universe 6 and 7, with Hit being the strongest Universe 6 fighter. Hit uses only a fraction of his potential due to the tournament’s strict rules against using lethal force. Hit defeats Vegeta in their match despite the fact that Vegeta was fighting in his strongest Super Saiyan Blue form.

Hit is facing Goku in the semi-final round. The brawl between the two warriors was so intense that it caused severe damage to the arena. Hit also uses this technique to temporarily incapacitate opponents by trapping them in a Time Cage. Hit can also alter time by creating a pocket dimension which allows him temporary intangibility while slipping into an alternate dimension. This gives him the ability to teleport and short bursts of intangibility. Hit, a skilled assassin, can concentrate all of his energy on a single attack known as the Phoenix Eye Fist, which allows him to kill targets even if they are much stronger than he.

Hit is not able to manifest a physical transformation like other fighters in Dragon Ball, but he can increase the amount of energy he uses during battle. Hit uses his full potential to improve his time manipulation to be able to skip a fifth to half of a second into the future and can freeze opponents temporarily, which is a valuable skill in combat.
