Monjiro is a Samurai who allied with the Kozuki clan. After waiting 20 years for the Nine Red Scabbards to return, he joined the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance to attack Onigashima. Monjiro is also a resident of the Wano Nation.
Appearance Monjiro
Monjiro is a small man with wide eyes and a mustache. Monjiro has long, bushy sideburns and green eyebrows. Monjiro is wearing a green kimono and a blue hakama. Monjiro also has a red beaded necklace, a black sugegasa cap with a white neck strap, and a box on his back. On his ankle, he has a tattoo of a reverse crescent Moon.
Look
He’s a short man with a big nose, a mustache overlaying his mouth, and petrol green hair with long sideburns. He wears a green kimono that tends to grey on the top and blue on the bottom. He also wears a large red pearl necklace, a black wide-brimmed hat and a box tied behind his back. He has a tattoo of a crescent moon on his ankle.

He’s patient and loyal to the Kozuki family, having waited twenty years for their return, but was puzzled when he received the message announcing the rebellion.

Eighteen years before the narrative, he heard Kozuki Toki’s prophecy that 9 samurai would come twenty years later to kill Kurozumi Orochi and open the borders of the Land of Wa.
Saga of the Land of Wa
He receives the message announcing the return of the Kozuki family and is puzzled by it.
He’s arrested along with other allies and imprisoned in Rasetsu Jail, where he receives the new message from Shimotsuki Yasuie, witnesses the latter’s execution and the rescue of Toko by the Straw Hat Pirates.
On the day of the fire festival, Denjiro frees him and the other prisoners; they then reach Tokage Harbor to reunite with the other allies.
He then disembarks on Onigashima. Here, the samurai sink their own ships to prevent them from being discovered and then obtain clothes similar to those of their enemies due to the ability of Kin’emon, in order to blend in. Monjiro then joins the samurai’s troop, which proceeds on the eastern road and plans to split in two to surround the enemy: one side will continue, the other will climb the mountain.
Unexpectedly, however, they arrive across the brothel run by Black Maria and Sanji rushes there, coming out immediately because it’s empty. The group decides to make the most of the fact that no one is there and walks across the bridge to the side of the structure and gets separated.
Nevertheless, when Kin’emon hears a voice approaching, he orders everyone to jump into the water. Shortly after, they infiltrate the main hall and, when Luffy declares the start of the war, they drop their disguises and conflict with the enemy pirates.
