Most horrible deaths in Resident Evil Village

[ad_1]

Resident Evil There are many gory and brutal deaths in the franchise. The deaths become more horrific with each game released (and re-released) in the series. The steady improvement of the engine’s stunning graphics opens up more possibilities to create graphic death sequences.

Resident Evil Village,This is the latest game in the series and one of the most graphically enhanced. With good graphics, characters and a grim story, there are bound to be several death scenes that will make players’ stomachs turn. Not only are some core character deaths hard to watch, but looking through Ethan Winters’ eyes as these creatures brutally murder him can make the most hardened player shudder.

8 Elena Burns Alive

For many players, Elena’s death felt unnecessary. Resident Evil Village was believed to have multiple playable characters with Elena being one. This feature was apparently removed in the final product. It led to an anticlimactic character death that was really not meant to be.

That said, Elena’s death is still brutal in nature no matter how players feel about it. After they run back to a burning wooden platform when her father, who had turned into one of the ferocious Lycans, called out her name, it becomes clear that her decision to run to him will be the last she’ll ever make. Ethan tells her to hurry and get off the platform before it collapses. Elena is thrown into the roaring fires.

7 Mother Miranda

Mother Miranda’s final death scene, while beautifully animated, isn’t the most gruesome death as far as it goes. Mother Miranda is seen writhing around after Ethan has delivered his last blow. She then calcifies and takes her final breath.

While her death itself isn’t a bloody mess of guts and blood, Mother Miranda is waging a bloody, hard battle for experienced and novice players alike. Her exuberant screams about her daughter, Eva, who she wanted to bring back to life by infecting Ethan’s daughter Rose with the megamycete, haunt to the end.

6 Donna Beneviento

House Beneviento is a nightmare, with a huge misshapen fetus as well as creepy murderous dolls following Ethan around every corner. Donna Beneviento’s death is both sad and grim, with her first and only words spoken by herself (rather than her doll, Angie), “don’t leave, I can’t leave you,” implying that she really wanted to save Ethan from Mother Miranda and the other Lords.

After finding Angie in her game of life or death of Hide n’ Seek, Ethan stabs her repeatedly with scissors until the illusion finally fades, and it’s revealed that he stabbed Donna herself the whole time and eventually killed her.

5 Karl Heisenberg

Heisenberg was one of the most unique of the four gentlemen. His strength lies in magnetism. He transformed himself into a collection of heavy armored parts with saws and other deadly machinery for his final transformation. The boss fight was challenging and unique, with a brutal end.

Heisenberg, still in his massive metal form, staggers back after the final blow. He is still mulling over his plans for Mother Miranda’s betrayal and murder. The Fourth Lord, a power-hungry and sadistic fourth Lord, is finally killed by his mass of mechanical components.

4 Ethan Winters: The Sacrifice

Ethan’s survival against all odds in Resident Evil 7 had supporters all over the country supporting him in Resident Evil Village. It becomes evident that Mother Miranda is no longer the protagonist’s beloved.

Ethan gave Rose to Chris Redfield as a sacrifice. He grabs Chris’s detonator and bids Rose one last farewell before returning to the site where he killed Mother Miranda, firing the bomb that would destroy the megamycete and the village once and for all. A secret ending scene shows a teenage Rose visiting Ethan’s grave, confirming that the main character is really dead.

3 Eaten by the mutant baby

It is already embarrassing enough that the mutated fetus wanders the halls of the Beneviento home. Players will be frightened by his swollen eyes, large mouth and haunting human baby sounds as he carefully turns every corner.

The deformed fetus will catch the player and cause him to die in an unpleasant, horrible scene. The baby giggles as he pulls Ethan between his legs and slowly swallows him. As the kill sequence plays, players can hear the baby say “yummy” childishly.

2 Moreau

Moreau was the most relatable of all the Lords. He is almost guilty of taking the Rose he guards, and his overwhelming insecurity about both his appearance as well as his service to Mother Miranda. Don’t feel too guilty; he will charge players for taking back the bottle that would make him lose the respect of Mother Miranda.

The last form of the mutated beast is a large, ugly creature with eyes clustered on its head. His final form is enough for players to gag. But his death sequence is even more terrifying. Moreau starts to inflate from the acid with which it was attacked. He starts to cry and calls for Mother Miranda. His suffering eventually ends with an explosion of acid and entrails.

1 Crushed by Urias’s hammer

Urias is the boss fight that the player must endure first. While it’s not the hardest boss fight in the game, being one of the first, Urias is brutal and relentless in his goal of killing Ethan. Urias wields a giant hammer, which is unlike any other Lycan in that they usually don’t wield anything at all.

Urias beats Ethan repeatedly with his large, heavy Hammer if the player is killed by Urias. He struck once, twice, and then again, repeatedly crushing Ethan’s torso in a pool full of blood and broken bones. The death sequence is one of the first you come across, and looking through Ethan’s eyes as he is clubbed to death by this massive werewolf will make your stomach turn.

Resident Evil Village It is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
