Orient manga compared with the anime

The anime’s story is based upon the Orient manga created by Shinobu Ohtaka. Her most famous work is Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.

The Orient manga has been serialized since May 2018. Volume 14 was published on January 7, 2022. The original serialization of the manga series was in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. However, it was moved to Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine February 9, 2021.

North American publisher Kodansha USA handles the official English translation of Orient manga. The digital release began in April 2020. While the print volumes started releasing in January 2021, the digital edition was launched in April 2020. The digital edition will reach Volume 11 by June 7, 2022.

It was not difficult to adapt 3.5 manga chapters per episode.

The end of the first season, Orient Episode 12, Where This Road Leads, reached a halt point that corresponds to Volume 5 Chapter 42.

This is the most important stopping point, since the next story, the Awaji Islands Recapture Operation Arc is the longest in this manga series.

There is plenty of material available to make Orient Season 2.
