It follows Nozomi Inda, who wants to play soccer. She is confronted with physically stronger opponents in official matches. Nozomi grows more confident as the story progresses and decides she will not give up until she achieves her goals.
12. Goodbye, My Dear Cramer
Farewell My Dear Cramer is the successor to Sayonara Football. It began serializing in the Monthly Shonen Magazine back in 2016. It ended in 2020. In 2021, the manga was also adapted into anime.
The sequel sees Sumire Suo and Midori Soshizaki join the Warabi Seinan high school. They take on the responsibility for ensuring the school team is more competitive in competitions. Naoko Nomi is appointed as the new coach for the team. She helps them improve and compete against the best in the country.
11. Wild Striker: Hungry Heart
The Hungry Heart: Wild Striker, a popular anime series, is based on the manga series by Yoichi Takahashi. It aired 52 episodes and began in September 2002.
It follows Kano Kyosuke who is a Jyoyo Orange High School student. Kyosuke has an older brother who is a soccer player and plays for A.C. Milan. His elder brother, Kyosuke, was the one who taught Kyosuke everything he knew about soccer. As time went by, Kyosuke began to be compared to his older brother. This led to him losing all interest in soccer. After joining Jyoyo Orange High School he noticed a change in his life and found his passion for soccer again.

Captain Tsubasa is undoubtedly the most well-known soccer manga. It was created by Yoichi Takahashi and has been in print since 1981. Tsubasa is a young boy who dreams of winning the FIFA World Cup in Japan.
Tsubasa was a gifted soccer player who impressed everyone around him from a young age. Tsubasa began playing in the most prestigious soccer games after he was mentored. The series has been a huge success, selling over 80 million copies. It is now one of the most loved manga series in the world.

Giant Killing is based upon a Japanese soccer team called East Tokyo United. This club is having a difficult time in the top soccer league in the country. The club manages to avoid relegation but is unable to do much. They finally decide to try again by hiring a new coach.

His inability to play at a high level of soccer is the biggest obstacle to his dream. He joins Sakura Jousui High to improve his skills. He is able to achieve his dreams with the support of his friends and teammates.
7. Inazuma Eleven
Sonny Wright formed the football team with his friends on the remote island Normidia. After the dismemberment and subsequent relocation of the original football club, Sonny Wright and his friends take the chance to replace Raimon. They move to Inazuma Town to participate in the Football Frontier, where they are trained by the strange and bizarre Mr. Yi.

Yoichi Isagi, one of many competitors, joins the Blue Lock to try and forget the mistakes of his past. As he embarks on his quest to be the best striker in all of Japan, the series follows him. Blue Lock could be the greatest sports manga of all time. It is well worth reading for those who love soccer or manga.

Ao Ashi is a manga series by Yugo Kobayashi. An anime adaptation of the manga was made. It aired its first episode in April 2022. Ao Ashi is about Ashito Aoi who is the junior high’s star player. He loses his temper and is eventually kicked out of the team.
His team crumbles, and he starts to question his own abilities. He is fortunate to meet a coach who sees potential and invites him to Tokyo to sharpen his skills.
