Bond Forger is the pet of The Forger Family. Bond, formerly Subject 8, was used in experiments that led to his precognition abilities. Read on to find out what Bond, the dog’s powers really are. Bond, like Yor, Loid, and Anya, has a secret that makes him the ideal addition to the Forger family. This adorable dog is a genius.
Because the dog is always distracted, Anya gets into more trouble than she expected. Bond isn’t yet officially a member of the Forgers, but his role in the closing theme should not be a spoiler. He will be an integral part of the anime’s future. We will tell you everything about Bond’s powers in Spy x Family.
Appearance Of Bond

Bond’s tall stature, long hair, and snout indicate that he is a Great Pyrenees. He is large enough to allow Anya Forger to comfortably ride on him. Anya says that Bondman’s gloves and shoes remind her of his large, indeterminate dog. He has fluffy white fur and black feet. His eyes are small and dark with small ears that often droop down. His body appears thinner when his fur is wet. Bond often wears a collar that looks like a bow tie. This is usually given to him by Anya when she gives him his name.
History

Bond was Subject 8 of a research project called “Project Apple”, which was conducted by the Ostanian regime to produce intelligent animals from a range of species. The new administration ended the research and the test subjects, which included Bond, were sold to the black market. They were eventually taken by Keith Kepler’s terrorist group and trained as bomb dogs. He is treated with cruelty and is made to feel like a replacement by researchers. He is often given shots and fed disgusting food.
Bond Personality

Bond has been shown to be a kind and compassionate dog. He uses his precognition skills to save a child from falling off a board. Anya also helps him to change the future to stop Loid Forger’s death. Anya also gets her gloves back by challenging him. He’s also known to be overzealous, quick to seek gratification, and often causes the misfortunes that he was trying to avoid.
He also shows a jealous and petty streak. He destroyed Anya’s beloved stuffed penguin because he felt it was receiving more attention than he was. Bond is unnerved by dog training techniques partly because of his past as a lab experiment and the abuse he suffered.
Bond Relationships
Anya Forger

Bond is very close to Anya. She has telepathy which allows her to communicate with him in depth. He has been known to be a bit possessive and once tore up her stuffed penguin in jealousy.

Loid Forger

Bond has shown Loid a lot of affection and loyalty by showing a great deal of love and loyalty. He used his skills to help him with missions and training. He prefers Yor to prepare his meals, even though Loid does.
Yor Forger

Although he has no animosity towards Yor, Bond is afraid of Yor’s cooking (which he witnessed kill him in a vision), and her temper (although this fear is exaggerated).
What are the abilities of Bond the Dog in Spy x Family?

Anya later named Bond, the Spy x Family dog, has the ability to precognite, which allows him to temporarily see glimpses into the future. These visions can be based on his current location or at a place in the city, and may even appear months ahead of when they occur. He has a very developed sense of smell, basic combat training, and also has advanced hearing. This will be revealed in an upcoming episode. These abilities are due to Bond being Subject 8 in Project Apple, an operation by the former government of Ostania.
The researchers did not spare Bond, and he was often electrocuted with high-voltage shocks. They fed him disgusting food, and regularly subjected him to abuse. According to Spy x Family Family Page, Bond’s terrorist operation was loosely based upon the Soviet Army’s antitank dog program during World War II. Tragically, this program resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of dogs. This often led to the dogs running into Soviet trenches after they became scared of German tanks.
