Season 1 of Dakaretai Otoko or Dakaichi featured Yuki Ono playing Junta Azumaya, and Hiroki Takahashi playing Takato Saijo. They will reprise their roles should a second season be made. Yuma Uchida may play Ryo Narumiya and Kohsuke Toriumi will play Kazuomi Usaka. Satoshi Hino might also be Taku Sasaki.

When will Dakaichi Season 2 be released?

Dakaretai Otoko Ichii seiyuu season 2 release date could have been in 2021 if the show was renewed. Although the release of the new season has been delayed, we expect to see it before the end of 2022 or early 2023.

Is there a second Dakaichi Season?

CloverWorks, Bunny Girl Senpai & Horimiya or any other related company has not renewed the anime’s second season. Don’t worry. It can take years for anime series to be renewed. But, CloverWorks’ past productions show that there are some productions that do get renewed for the second season. We can only speculate until there is an official announcement about the second season. In this regard, there are some important factors to be aware of. These include manga popularity, manga status, and indirectly Blu Ray sales.

Dakaichi Movie Release Date

The film is called “DAKAICHI-My Number 1-the Movie in Spain” (J. : “Gekijou–ban Dakaretai Okoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. Spain-Hen”), and adapts “Spain Arc”, the title of hashigo Sakurabi’s original manga series. It has published seven volumes so far.

Studio CloverWorks is again directing the production, with Naoyuki Takuwa and Yoshimi Narita revising the screenplay. Senri Kawaguchi and Minako Shiba return as character designers. Masaru Yokochaya is back as a composer, and Aniplex takes over distribution.

The 13-part anime series DAKAICHI – My Number 1 was broadcast on Japanese television from October to December 2018. It was also shown in the Simulcast on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

Dakaichi Season 2 Release date

Even though there isn’t yet a renewal, the new season looks very promising. The manga is still very popular. The manga does not currently have enough source material. We’ll keep you updated. The anime’s next season will be released in 2023 if the renewal is granted. This is because the source material cannot be delivered before 2023.

Dakaichi Season 2 Episode

Takato, a talented actor and well-respected performer, is at the peak of his career. His twenty-year acting career has been successful. According to tabloid publications, he has been awarded the Sexiest Man of the Year award for the past five years. Takato is worried about his situation even though he considers himself a serious actor and deserves all the attention. Being in the first place gives Takato an ego boost, as it shows that people still respect him.

Surprisingly, Takato ranks #2 as the Sexiest Man of The Year for this year. Junta, a rising star in the industry, is ahead of Takato. Takato is a co-star in the film, which makes it even worse.

Takato may be hostile to his coworker but there’s only one side of their conflict. Junta is kind to Takato and completely in love with him. He is a relative novice to the field and appreciates his colleague’s acting tips to improve his performance. Junta is quickly attracted to Takato, and tries to conceal his strong and unhealthy feelings for him.

Takato accidentally drinks himself unconscious one evening. He wakes up fully naked at Junta’s apartment. His costar is shocked and disregarded by this request. Junta overwhelms his victim despite Takato’s refusal of sexual activity. Junta coerces the victim to kiss him, molests her, and threatens sexual assault. Takato was able to escape the attempted rape but is still shaken by what transpired that evening. He must still deal with the rapacious Junta each day on the movie set.

The tumultuous romance between them begins to take a more serious turn. Junta later devotes his entire attention to Takato. Although blackmailing can be a horrible way to begin a relationship, Junta later shows that he will never put his loved ones in danger. Season 2 could follow up on this.

MANGA STATUS OF ANIME

The manga series is based on Hashigo Sakurabi’s manga, as we have mentioned at the start of this article. The manga series began publication in Magazine Be x Boy in 2013. Manga is difficult to find since there is no English publisher. The good news is that manga is still being published.

So far, the manga has been published in seven volumes. The first season of the anime comprised volumes 1-5. The manga series has been heavily adapted to anime. This means we will need to wait until there is more manga volume in order to have enough material.
