The third episode in Dick Wolf’s FBI series closes its first season on the Feds’ Budapest-based mobile Fly Team. It is filled with international intrigues and exotic locations. According to executive producer Derek Haas, it features “a huge global political thriller reminiscent a great Jason Bourne movie.” It [involves] both the FBI and the CIA as well as international borders.

The team leader, Special Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank), also has a personal connection. One of the victims in the crash of a private plane carrying American citizens in Poland is Hutchinson. This name was requested by his mother Angela Cassidy (Elizabeth Mitchell) in surprising visits. She claimed she was undercover for the government.

Haas points out that Scott’s mom may not be telling the truth. He wants clarity and emotional satisfaction. Forrester is now an agent because he has the big question of whether your closest friends are using you or betraying.

The team investigates a missing man and Forrester takes a rogue step and travels to Croatia to find out who and what Hutchinson were involved. Jamie Kellett, Special Agent (Heida Red), “is intuitive” and “knows pretty quickly what it all means,” says the producer. However, Forrester will need to make difficult decisions about who he tells how he is doing it.

His actions could endanger his job, his team, and even lead to treason charges. In the end, his actions could lead to his job and team being fired. Haas states, “Everyone will face danger by the episode’s conclusion.” “The conclusion is shocking.” But you can breathe easy: The series has been renewed for a second season.

FBI International Season 3 Cast

The show’s success is due to the outstanding performances of its actors. These are the people who make this series so great.
Luke Kleintank plays Scott Forrester, an FBI Supervisory Agent and head the International Fly Team; Heida Reid portrays Jamie Kellett, an FBI Agent second-in-command; Carter Redwood plays Andre Raines (an FBI Special Agent on team), with a background as an accountant.

Vinessa Vidotto plays Cameron Vo, an FBI Special agent. She is a West Point graduate. Green as Tank is Green as Tank, a black Giant Schnauzer who was trained in Schutzhund, and is a retired cadaver dog. He obeys Scott Forrester’s orders.
Zeeko Zaki plays the role of OA Zidan, an FBI Special Agent from New York. Julian McMahon plays the role as Jess Lacroix (an FBI Supervisory Special Agent for the Fugitive Task Force).

FBI International Season 3 Episode

The series features FBI agents on the international “Fly Team”, an elite team based out of Budapest, that is responsible for locating and neutralizing threats to American interests around the world, primarily in Europe. The team must not only combat terrorist and criminal attacks but also face the challenges of performing overseas operations, such as uneasy partnerships with foreign law enforcement or restrictions on firearms use.

The show is almost entirely American, but it has an international flavour that contrasts with many American police procedural shows.

Dick Wolf’s production company is a master at building successful franchises. It’s the latest franchise, and it has managed to produce three series in just three years. FBI: International is the latest series. It’s about a Budapest-based team of “flyers” who travel to foreign cities to eradicate threats to American interests. It was part of an amalgamation with two other FBI shows.

Opening Shot: Budapest, Hungary. FBI Special Agent Jamie Kellett (Heida) receives a call from Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank), while Scott’s boss instructs a group police officers in Budapest on how to disarm an evil gun-toting criminal, including kicks to their nethers.

The Gist While this is happening, in Zagreb (Croatian), a plane lands. In the meantime, guards meet a US billionaire named Colin Kent (OdedFehr) as he loads a young girl, who is blindfolded, into a black car. The police officers arrive at the scene and are shot by the guards.

Forrester is the leader of the FBI International Fly Team. This team can be deployed at any time to combat threats to American interests. Kellett, Special Agents Andre Raines and Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto) complete the team. They literally just returned from their last post in Seattle. Katrin Jaeger, the Europol contact for the team, is supposed to be called whenever the team visits a location to investigate. However, they can also go their own way, without Europol support.

The first episode focuses on Kent and human trafficking. Special Agents in Charge Isobell Castille (Alana La Garza) and Jubal Valentin (Jeremy Sisto) present the case to them. The group quickly travels to Zagreb to visit the benefactor’s home, where the billionaire is believed to be hiding. The FBI is discovered by Croatian police officers. They put an end to the situation. Forrester believes Kent is the cop and tip him off.

They spot one of the detectives looking embarrassed at the events and have Jaeger set up a meeting to discuss the matter. He will help them find Kent. Omar “OA”) Adom (Zeeko Zaki), Special Agent from New York, joins the team. He has a personal reason for taking down Kent based on a case he was involved in back in the States. Forrester must convince OA not to take down Kent until they have all the information he has about the larger trafficking ring, and the location of the missing girl.

What TV Shows Will It Remind Me Of? FBI International is the third installment of Dick Wolf’s brand-new FBI franchise. Let’s just say that it most closely resembles FBI: Most Wanted.

Our Take We loved FBI International. We enjoyed the Budapest base and the fact that it actually gets shot there. The exterior shots have an authenticity that is impossible to achieve when shooting in a North American city, other than Montreal or Quebec. Because the units are supposed work together, we liked that the show immediately established a crossover vibe.

The crossover was not aired on the network so we missed the scenes where Jess LaCroix, played by Julian McMahon, visits someone in the hospital. Maggie Bell (Missy Pegrym), offers Maggie’s help. This scene would have been more logical if we had seen the other two episodes. The episode was otherwise self-contained. Even though OA flew in from New York, he tried to bigfoot his team into doing certain things his way.

The whole show feels, well, generic. Despite the fact that the Fly Team has a location shoot and the dusty, funky interior of their Budapest office, as well as the dog that goes along with them on cases, there is no real personality to the team. These characters are a mix of wisecracking characters from all Wolf’s franchises (Law & Order, Chicago).

Even though Kent was a stand-in for Jeffrey Epstein, there wasn’t much wrong with the first episode. The chase scenes are good, the acting is not as bad as you would expect from these shows, and the story itself was logical. Kleintank’s performance as Forrester is a standout, but the rest of the team doesn’t really make a difference.

International isn’t like the other FBI shows. It doesn’t have the one or two veterans who draw people in. There’s no McMahon or Sisto in this crew. Kleintank is supposed be that guy. However, his character is so “morally tough guy” that he blends in more than he stands out. Although it may lead to a more cohesive team later on in the season, it makes the show dull at the beginning. It’s frustrating when Zaki, who is a star of the original FBI shows more interest than the regulars.
