Good Morning Veronica Season 2 – Is Gisele Still Alive?

Gisele is the most quiet character in this season. Gisele seems to have had a happy marriage, and a wonderful lifestyle, in contrast to Janete. Matias initially doesn’t seem to be abusing anyone. As the story progresses, Gisele may be seen wearing a hook belt to hurt herself. Matias forces the women to wear the belts as part of their “therapy.” Gisele seems helpless and pained on the inside but keeps her straight face and stands by her husband.

Angela is corrected by Gisele after she discovers the secrets of her father. Gisele seems to support Matias, despite the terrible outcomes. Dome is now an entrepreneur at Matias, Matias’ church.

You lose a lot of the exciting and interesting parts of the first season as we bounce back and forth between Veronica and Angela, Matias’s daughter. Season 2 is a continuation of the first season, but it’s too large for us to be fully immersed in its storyline. Even though the series starts off very boring, the second season never achieves the same level of horror and tension as the first.

The more Veronica discovers Matias’ filth, the more difficult her own life becomes. You don’t feel an emotional connection to her character or the mafia network she uncovers, unlike last season. You sat on the edge of your chair before because you felt something for Janete, and, in turn, Veronica.

Good Morning Veronica season 2, makes subtle nods towards the first season, but it ties them up quite well. These small scenes help you to understand the story and make everything more logical. There is also a small mention of an eating disorder that they don’t really get into. It makes sense based on what the character has to go through, but it feels forced.

Good Morning Veronica Season 2 is a disappointing addition to the series that should have ended with the excellent first season. This second season of Good Morning Veronica is a shocking tale of violence, abuse and corruption. However, it feels too personal and over-the-top to feel relatable. It also stops being frightening and scary as you would expect.

Overall, the second season was rather boring and unimportant and portrays a very sad child who has been abused.
