La Brea Plotline

At least it’s not yet another program centered around vampires and zombies! I have had it up to here with those! And all of a sudden, the science fiction that is actually worth viewing is being canceled or transferred to a paid cable channel.

This is an ordinary mashup of old themes from science fiction shows and movies, including a mixture of parallel universes, time travel, dinosaurs, and other such topics. Take inspiration from films such as Wayward Pines, Terra Nova, Jurassic Park, At the Earth’s Core, and many others. They also included a set of dire wolves.

As of right now, I’ve only seen a little part of it, but from what I’ve seen, I have high hopes that the writers will stop recycling old concepts and come up with fresh and tasty new ones.
