Even though they are polar opposites of each other, Cheng Xiaoshi (the main character) and Lu Guang (“the supporting character”) complement each other. Each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Cheng’s impulsivity can be managed with ease by Lu’s clever technique.
Since Cheng was a child, Qiao was Cheng’s friend. He provides emotional support and helps to maintain a delicate balance between them. It was amazing to see their friendship not be dominated by unneeded sexual conflicts. Each character was well-developed for their emotional conflicts.
What are the ratings?
This review was written to help you see this amazing masterpiece. This was my first Chinese anime, and I’m surprised I didn’t give it a chance. It’s not available in Japanese.
It was a wonderful experience. The ride will make you laugh, cry, feel scared, and even be horrified. Both are very friendly and the music is fantastic. This show is not one to miss, I repeat.
What are the reviews for the show?
My god, I am speechless. The first few episodes were a great introduction to Lu Guang’s personality and Cheng Xiaoshis talents.
They really increased the pace in second half. It is a fantastic plot and the visuals are amazing. It is also wholesome and tragic.
This anime is original, and has not been adapted from another source. While I would like to have seen more of Lu Guang, this storyline may be kept for season 2.
The characters are well made and the voice actors do a fantastic job. This anime is by far the best I’ve seen. I can’t wait for the next season.
