King Robert finally got married on Sunday’s finale of The Royals. This gave his family the chance to show him off in front of the entire globe.

The plan was to have Willow hijack the ceremony to announce that Robert had caused the blackout. However, it hit a slight snag as the bride decided not to blow up her fiancé’s spot and instead chose to make her vows and be the new Queen of England.

This was not the only surprise of the hour. To Cyrus’ delight, Violet also re-entered the scene after the Royal Wedding, which led to Eleanor, Jasper and Jasper getting engaged. Kathryn appeared to be kidnapped during the episode’s final minutes. She’s got royal bun in the oven, but is it really Liam’s?

Below, star William Moseley assists TVLine to make sense of the finale’s most shocking twists. He also shares his thoughts about Liam possibly becoming a father.

“It definitely leaves a huge dot dot dot at the end of the season,” Moseley says of Willow’s choice to go rogue and actually marry Robert. Her motivations are unclear, but I believe she may have joined the dark side. Robert and she would make a formidable team. It is possible to speculate that Robert knew of Willow’s family’s plans and had pulled Willow into it. It was a surprise ending. They probably expected someone to be shot or someone to die. But for Willow to just say ‘I do’, it was a very dramatic ending. It was so exciting to see the reaction of the audience.”

Moseley is thrilled about the possibility of Jasper-Eleanor’s wedding. However, he also points out that Jasper doesn’t have many friends so it would be a surprise if he chose Liam as his best man. They share a strong bond. They are almost like brothers in a certain way. They are loyal to one another and want each other to be happy. They have a very good relationship — Liam Jasper, Eleanor and Jasper — and it will only get stronger as the show continues.”

“I think she’s a welcome addition to the royal family, because she’s kind and loving and brings a fresh energy — kind of in the way that Kathryn does,” Moseley says. Although I think Cyrus could be changed, he is the comic and scandalous side to our show, and I don’t see him becoming straight-laced. He is my favorite character, apart from Liam. He is wild and bold and refuses to apologize for being himself. There’s room for the love-inducing Cyrus , and space to accommodate the scandalous Cyrus.

Moseley recalls that “that was something that was on the air since the beginning of the third season.” “There was a small note on her apartment’s wall that suggested she might be pregnant. Then we discover that she is pregnant. But the real question is who’s baby it is? Robert will have problems if the child is Liam’s. Robert would also have to deal with the fact that the child is Robert’s. If the child is Robert’s, it creates friction between the brothers. She’d also be carrying the king’s child which would be huge. What would that look like for her? What would that mean to Willow and Robert? There are many questions.”

“Kathryn’s always been a linchpin between the two brothers,” Moseley says. Robert presumably still loves her. He may have a lust for her. I believe Robert would be happy to take Kathryn from Liam. He regards her as a toy and a plaything. It’s very difficult for Liam to see Kathryn this way. He loves her and sees a bright future together.

The Royals premiered with 10 episodes on March 15, 2015. The release date was announced for the series in December 2014. The series was created by Mark Schwahn and features several seasons. It has four seasons and 40 episodes.

It had always seemed that the couple were infatuated and ready to fight against the government together. However, Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park), cautioned Willow that Robert was not to be believed and their royal marriage was called into question. Willow’s feelings aside, there was still a revolution in progress. That meant that the world had to be as it was supposed to. Willow decided to confide her worries in her future husband, even though the rest of her family was moving for a less conspicuous approach.

Willow stated that she came to the same conclusion on her own, rather than criticizing Eleanor. Willow was not only concerned by the damage the power outage had caused, but Robert’s oppressive overthrow that made her feel cool before the wedding.

“Parliament exists because it is important!” It’s too dictatorial to have all the power. History has shown that this is the case.”

Willow was disappointed and yelled. Robert attempted to clarify his position by saying,

“I don’t care about the past. “Parliament was a fraud, filled with corruption and greed.”

Robert was worried that the nation might lose its direction. He remained firm in his vision and his administration despite Willow’s concerns. These exceptional concerns were what kept Willow from going down the aisle.

However, Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley), on the other hand, taught the crew to be aware and avoid making mistakes by saying,

“Eleanor: You design the wedding. Liam: You fulfill all your best man duties. Bodyguard: Security. Cyrus: Fondle your help. Everything is the same as it has always been. Don’t let yourself slip.”

Willow informed Helena that she could not marry Robert and that he must stop what he is doing. She was also eager to do what it took to end Robert’s rule, even if that meant exposing Robert during their wedding. She was so upset by Robert’s actions that she planned to expose him. She stated,

“I could expose him. During my vows, in front of the entire world. I could tell the whole world about him and his life.”

Jasper (Tom Austen), with everyone aboard and an all-inclusive plan in place, sought the help of James Hill (Rocky Marshall), the ruler’s security chief, to bring Robert down. However, Jasper turned to a more reliable opponent when he couldn’t.

Following the plan, Liam (William Moseley), went to Robert just hours before his premarital ceremony to play chess with him and to receive a brotherly exhortation. Although there was amusement, it wasn’t rivalry that Liam was there to. This was evident as he said, just before he left the room.

“Dad wanted the dissolution of the monarchy because it could corrupt even the most talented of us.” I didn’t come to compete with you. I came here to spend some time with my brother. To remind him of how much he means to me, and to tell him that when his best was, no one loved or appreciated him as much as I did.”

It looked like Liam might also experience hypersensitivity as emotions ran high. Despite the mixed feelings of the family, it was time to face the hard truth and plan the wedding.

The arrangement was to allow Willow to take over the function and report on Robert’s involvement in the outage. However, it became a bit complicated when the lady of honor chose to not reveal her partner’s true identity, but rather to make her promises and become the new Queen of England. There was no overthrow. Instead, the match exchanged the traditional “I dos” for the sacred place.

That wasn’t the only shocking moment of the hour. Jasper and Eleanor were kinda-sorta getting married, but the Royal Wedding also motivated Violet to re-enter that photo, much to Cyrus’ happy mistrust. Kathryn looked like she was grabbed in the last moments of the scene. She has a royal bun in the broiler, but is it unquestionably Liam?
