The author has confirmed that they will continue the story by writing and drawing a second part to the manga.

Fans are thrilled to see their favourite characters from paper come to life on screen and they hope the manga is well-done. It is dangerous to leave so much in the hands of MAPPA, especially considering the additional information about their studio.

We can only hope that workers will be treated better and have the creative freedom to ensure the anime is as good as the manga.
