32. Emperor Pilaf

This antagonist duo was one of many in the ‘Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku and Friends’ series.

Although they were strong at first, they continued to train hard and claimed to be Frieza’s level of fighter prowess.

They were ultimately defeated by Goten and Trunks.

30. Turles

Turles is also a Saiyan, so it’s not necessary to highlight the extraordinary power he wielded.

Turles was originally a member of the Frieza Force. His ambitions were much greater. His followers were called the Turles Crusher Corps.

Turles and his Crusher Corps embarked on a journey in order to establish his rule over different planets in this cosmos, and then reign as the authoritative being.

He is the main antagonist of Dragon Ball Z’s The Tree of Might series. Turles is a true villain in terms of his personality.

His inhuman treatment Gohan received made it clear that he is cruel and lacking empathy. He doesn’t know the difference between good and bad, but he simply doesn’t care.

29. King Cold

King Cold is a secondary antagonist in the Trunks saga. Before Frieza took control, he was the ruler and emperor in Universe 7.

He is, as we have already said, the father of Frieza the powerful; this makes him Cooler’s father and Kuriza Frieza’s grandfather.

He was a shadow member of the Frieza force. King Cold isn’t loud or rowdy, but his behavior is royal and just like his name.

28. Meta Cooler

Meta Cooler is a race of mass-produced Cyborgs that are all clones from the original Cooler. They were created using the Big Gete Star, which can be controlled remotely from within the planet’s core.

The Meta-Cooler army is vast; millions of them were created by the Gete Star.

However, Meta Cooler is usually a reference to the Meta Cooler that Goku first encountered in battle.

The entire army of Meta Coolers can be called the Meta Cooler Corps. Meta Coolers are all copies of the original Cooler making them more fearful and formidable.

Later, the Meta Coolers would evolve into their race of superior beings.

27. Androids 16-20

Another group of villains has been grouped together, but this is not without reason. They are not a formidable group of villains as individuals.

They are a formidable combination and the main antagonists to Cell attacks. There are significant differences in power even among these Androids.

The androids with lower numbers, i.e. Numbers 19 and 20 are among the most vulnerable in the group. Vegeta can easily defeat them if they are engaged in battle.

Android 20 presents a much easier challenge, it is obvious. However, Android 17 and 18 are tough to beat.

26. King Piccolo

For the first few seasons, the original Dragon Ball anime had a lighthearted tone. Goku made friends with his best friends, and they went on adventures collecting Dragon Balls and introducing people to their amazing world. King Piccolo’s arrival changed the tone of the series.

King Piccolo conquers the world using his army of minions, monsters, and defeats Goku. He even kills Krillin. Goku must unleash all his power to defeat King Piccolo. However, he cannot do so before King Piccolo plays one final card and creates an egg that will contain his offspring.

25. The Saiyans

A new world was opened after Goku’s Saiyan brother Raditz arrived in Dragon Ball Z. Goku found out he belonged to a super-powerful warrior race that spent their entire lives conquering new worlds. They were also among the most powerful species in the cosmos. After Raditz kidnapped Gohan, Goku joined forces with Piccolo. They defeated Raditz together, but it cost Goku his life. Nappa and Vegeta arrived on Earth a year later.

The arrival of Vegeta, Dragon Ball Z‘s first major villain, would be a significant milestone. It also encouraged the idea of starting as enemies and then moving on to friendly rivals for life. Vegeta, Nappa and Goku were the only ones who killed Goku’s closest friends before they developed mutual respect and became allies.

24. Omega Shenron

Goku and his friends used the immense power of the Dragon Balls without any consequences for decades. This all changed in Dragon Ball GT when an accumulation of negative energy from the use of the orange balls led to the creation of the Shadow Dragons, seven powerful creatures bent on doing evil across the globe. After absorbing seven Dragon Balls, Syn Shenron transforms into Omega Shenron. He is far more powerful than Vegeta and Goku, so the pair must fuse into Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta to defeat him. They end up destroying each other before they can strike the final blow. Goku must summon the Universal Spirit Bomb to finish the job.

23. Garlic Jr

While Garlic Junior made his first appearance in the Dragon Ball Z movie and Dead Zone movies, most viewers will have seen him first during the Garlic Junior saga from Dragon Ball Z. Although his debut was not a great one at the time, it was certainly what the anime needed at that time.

With the Frieza Saga just over and Cell yet to be revealed, viewers were able to take a breather after the sudden change in pace. However, the speed at which the stakes were raised caught many people off guard and the finale with Garlic Jr. is as dramatic as any of the other series’ great set-piece moments.

22. Super Android 13

While it is possible to lump lower-level Androids together, Super Android 13 is not included. He is Dr. Gero’s most powerful creation, created specifically to exact revenge on Goku.

Super Android 13 is the main antagonist of Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13 series.

Cell thinks that this android was created as a prototype by him due to its ability to absorb other Androids.

21. Baby

This character is the Dragon Ball GT’s first and most significant villain.

As a result, he is the Tuffle Race’s last survivor. He was created by fusion of the DNA of Tuffle King and a robotic body.

He was made to exact revenge on Saiyans. He becomes Baby Vegeta when he enters Vegeta’s body and gains more fighting strength.

He was the one who created Dr. Myuu, gave him the design to create machine mutants, and then brought him back to life.

Myuu believed that he created Baby, but it was actually the other way around. He is a parasitic type that can enter other people’s bodies and take control.

20. Raditz

Raditz the Runt is also known as this character. He is the oldest child of Bardock, Gine and Goku’s biological brother.

He was one of the few remaining full-blooded Saiyans left after his home was destroyed. He is the Dragon Ball Z’s first villain and the main antagonist in Raditz Saga.

He visits earth to verify that his brother Goku is performing the task he was meant to, but instead, he finds himself helping the planet’s inhabitants.

Raditz and Goku both lost their lives in the battle. The former wanted to rid the world of his evil twin brother. Piccolo helped Goku in defeating Raditz.

19. Bojack

Bojack is the antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound. His army is called the Galaxy Soldiers.

Bojack is a chilling villain. He can’t hide his bloodlust and sometimes it’s hard to even conceal it. Bojack is almost an embodiment of pure evil, and he has very few admirable qualities.

He doesn’t feel loyal to his comrades, and will use them as pawns or even sacrifice their lives for his cause in war.

He is very arrogant and feels visibly offended when Gohan puts him through a hard fight on the battlefield. Bojack is a formidable fighter.

He is able to fight with Super Saiyans, giving Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo a lot of trouble.

Another villain, he has a grudge against Gohan or Goku because they were the ones who caused him to lose humiliatingly.

18. Cooler

Cooler is probably the most underutilized villain in Dragon Ball. However, he has received a lot of love in recent years. He is a regular character in Dragon Ball Heroes. As part of the first season pass to Dragon Ball FighterZ, he was also a DLC fighter. However, his first appearance was in Dragon Ball Z – Cooler’s Reign.

Cooler was a great actor, even though the movie and its sequel were mediocre at best. At first glance, Cooler may seem like another Frieza clone, but despite similarities to his brother he is his own character. While Frieza is the superior of the two, Cooler has more to offer than his brother that will give him an edge over many other series antagonists.

17. Majin Vegeta

Vegeta is one of the good guys. However, Majin Vegeta, which we see when Babidi seizes control of his mind, is a reincarnation of the evil Vegeta.

Babidi could have done it if Vegeta had not allowed him to. Vegeta felt that he was losing the brute power that was fueled by evil as he fought alongside Z warriors over the years.

Vegeta also believed that awakening his evil side might be his only hope of defeating Goku. Vegeta becomes Super Saiyan in the Majin state.

Vegeta, in his Majin state, becomes brutal and begins to kill mercilessly so Goku would have to confront him in battle.

16. The Androids

Future Trunks appeared to warn the Z gang of the imminent arrival of two deadly androids. Few could have foreseen the outcome. Although it appears that Future Trunks has been successful in his warning, it soon becomes apparent that the androids that have caused Goku so much pain are just the beginning of Gero’s evil plan.

It becomes evident that Androids 16, 17 and 18 are a lot more powerful than their predecessors, and there are some great battles. The Androids’ strength is not what makes them so captivating, it’s their amazing personalities. They are far more interesting than the other villains in the series because they seem completely uninterested in what’s happening around them.

15. Hirudegarn

Hirudegarn is one such villain who is not only formidable in battle, but can also make opponents cower in fear.

Hirudegarn is an especially tall phantom Majin who is known for his violent and unstoppable attacks on everything.

He is the antagonist of the series Dragon Ball Z – Wrath of the Dragon. He is a humanoid with a weak appearance. After undergoing metamorphosis, he can become even more powerful, getting horns, shoulder brains and wings that look like an insect. Best Dragon Ball Villains

Hirudegarn, a mindless beast that doesn’t show any emotion, is completely indifferent. His master can control him.

Without a master. Hirudegarn is a mindless force capable of inflicting immense destruction.

14. Piccolo

Piccolo will only have been known by those who missed the Dragon Ball first arcs. However, there was a time when he was one of the greatest threats to the planet. His battles with Goku were some of the most memorable in pre-Z Dragon Ball, and his connection to Kami was an interesting subplot.

Although King Piccolo was not as powerful as some modern villains in the series he was more than a match for a young Goku. He also had a great personality. Piccolo Junior is, however, more balanced and complex than his previous incarnation. This extra level of reasoning makes Piccolo Junior even more fascinating and ultimately leads to the Namekian changing their ways.

13. The Ginyu Force

Frieza has created the Ginyu Force as part of his army for conquering the planets.

The members of the group belong to a high-ranking executive class within the army. Captain Ginyu, the trusted man of Frieza, is leading it.

They are without doubt the strongest villains in Dragon Ball’s history. They are a memorable villain in the series, despite their not-so-famous backstories.

12. Moro

The character is also known as Planet-Eater Moro and acts as the main antagonist in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga Dragon Ball Super. He was also known to be the one who threatened Universe 7 a million years ago.

This goat-like humanoid, whose energy was taken from Vegeta and Goku, became more youthful and had a well-built body.

Moro is well-known for possessing the ability to achieve a higher level of magic and good fighting prowess.

He used his magic and took advantage of the most powerful Supreme Kais, Grand Supreme Kai or South Supreme Kai. However, he was eventually held captive by them for many decades.

11. Janemba

We have now officially entered the top 10, so you’ll mainly be seeing the main antagonists of popular Dragon Ball series.

Janemba is the main villain in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. He is a demon, and may even be considered an incarnation of pure evil.

He gets pure, sadistic pleasure from anarchy and battle. Janemba is extremely strong. His ability to change reality to suit his desires allows him to be extremely powerful.

10. Goku Black

Although technically they are the same person, Zamasu and Goku Black have distinct identities. Goku Black appeared in Dragon Ball Super. He was Zamasu, an alter-timeline smuggler who stole the body and soul of the original Goku. After teaming up, Future Zamasu became his future self and they set out to eradicate all mortals from Earth.

Goku Black seized control over Goku’s body. His power was a combination of Saiyan strength and Kai power. He was able to grow stronger faster than any Saiyan. Although he could not transform into a Super Saiyan Rose, Goku Black was able to use his own version of the technique. The single transformation could easily take on Vegeta or Goku in Super Saiyan Blue which is their strongest form.

09. Cell Max

The Dragon Ball Super Hero movie introduced many elements to the world of Dragon Ball, including new androids and transformations as well as a new cell. Red Ribbon Army revives a monstrous Cell version. Because Goku and Vegeta have been off-world training with Beerus and Whis, Broly and Broly, Gohan, Piccolo and all three take up to achieve new forms.

08. Majin Buu

Majin Buu is the last villain in the Dragon Ball manga series. It is a villainous genie-like character who is believed to have been awakened many years before Dragon Ball’s events.

Buu was left hidden after Bibidi’s passing, until Bibidi’s son Babidi revived Buu to fulfill his father’s plans to conquer all of the universe.

He is said to be the greatest villain that the Dragon Ball characters have ever faced. He possesses the power and abilities of an immortal.

Majin Buu is able to transform anything into chocolate or sweets, which he then relishes to satisfy his hunger.

Buu was able to absorb many characters, including Piccolo and Gotenks, and became more powerful than Super Saiyan Goku or Vegeta.

07. Broly

Like most DBZ films, the Broly in the Legendary Super Saiyan movie wasn’t considered canon. Akira Toriyama created a new Broly in 2018 with the release of Dragon Ball Super Broly.

The powers of Super Saiyan and the Saiyan’s Ape form were combined to create a new Broly. This transformation is more powerful than Goku’s or Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue forms. Broly’s unyielding rage is his strength, but it is also his weakness. He lacks intelligence and strategy, but he does have raw strength. The fight between Goku and Vegeta is extremely one-sided in favor of the heroes after they fuse into Gogeta.

06. Vegeta

Vegeta IV, or Prince Vegeta is also known as Vegeta IV, and is the son of King Vegeta who is the father of Bulla and Trunks. He is also the prince of the fallen Saiyan races.

He was initially the antagonist in the Saiyan Saga, but he later became a tritagonist for the Dragon Ball Z series.

Vegeta was initially a brutal warrior and murderer in Frieza Force. But in Frieza Saga he changes his mind and decides to stay on Earth.

05. Beerus

Goku’s first foe in Dragon Ball Super was Beerus, God of Destruction. Beerus is excited to hear about Goku’s victory over Frieza and his ability to become Super Saiyan. Beerus, inspired by a dream, confronts Goku in an attempt to find the Super Saiyan god. Beerus defeats Goku with just two hits and then heads to Earth to decimate the rest of Z Fighters.

Goku, still recovering from their first encounter with Beerus, takes on Beerus once more. He is able to defeat Beerus this time thanks to the Eternal Dragon and the borrowed energy from his Saiyan family and friends. Goku loses despite his newfound power and ability to throw punches that can be felt throughout the universe. 04. Frieza

Everyone who is a Dragon Ball Series fan knows that Frieza was the main antagonist of the series. He is one of the most feared villains in all of the universe, and he aims to rule Universe 7.

By making frequent return visits to the earth, he is one of Goku’s biggest enemies. Frieza destroyed planet Vegeta and killed all members of the Saiyan tribe.

He was chosen to replace Good Buu at the Tournament of Power and become the tenth member of Team Universe 7 in order to represent Universe 7.

After the tournament finishes, he regains his title of Emperor of Universe 7. This is Cooler’s brother, Kuriza’s father. King Cold is the recurring villain in this series.

The Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F was the first time Frieza’s fourth exclusive form, Golden Frieza, was introduced.

Goku and Vegeta upgraded their forms to match their abilities. However, Golden Frieza couldn’t hold onto his new powers and was eventually extinguished.

03. Fused Zamasu

There is a new version of Zamasu, but it is stronger than Goku. The fused Zamasu, which is a level-up, is formed by combining future Zamasu and black Goku.

Fused Zamasu is the last villain in the Future Trunks story. Although it looks very similar to future Zamasu, the fusion version also displays distinct characteristics of Black Goku. Best Dragon Ball Villains

02. Jiren

Jiren, the main antagonist of the Universe Survival Saga, has power so great it even surpasses the God of Destruction.

He is one of the most powerful beings in all of the multiverse. Beerus is the most formidable antagonist in Dragon Ball’s series. Beerus, the Pride Troopers’ strongest member, is proud and honorable. Beerus is not rash or unstable like many of the villains.

He is a fighter who is fair but doesn’t believe in teamwork. He prefers to work alone and it is more than enough to defeat his enemies.

He is more than someone to be afraid of.

01. Cell

Cell was created by cell recombination technology. It is Dr. Gero’s greatest creation. The remote tracking device enabled the search for the genetics of the most powerful fighters of the planet and the creation of Cell. It was therefore the top Dragon Ball Z villain.

He has the best of the Goku, Vegeta and King Cold traits and makes the perfect warrior of the series.

He is the antagonist in Cell Games Sagas: Perfect Cell, Imperfect Cell and Cell Games Sagas. His fighting skills make him a notable character.
