Money Heist Korea is a Korean version of the popular Netflix series La Casa De Papel, also known as Money Heist. The first season, which consisted of six episodes and a running time of between 63 to 78 minutes, was released June 24, 2022. The Korean series is based on the Spanish original, but it has the concept of a united territory for the Korean peninsula. The series explores the unification of North and South Koreas as well as the consequences it will have on people, accompanied by new places for corruption. Yoo Ji-tae plays the role of Professor. A QUICK MONEY HEIST KOREA REVIEW

Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area is a great series that anyone can enjoy. The twists and turns are a wonderful Korean twist that works well all around.

Fans of Money Heist may not find this adaptation worth their while. It’s still the basic storyline from the original series, so it’s possible that they won’t be as satisfied with the new adaptation. Joint Economic Area can feel more like a reimagining than a recap. There are 48 episodes of the Spanish series, and only six of the Korean adaptation.

Joint Economic Area is a must-see if you’re not yet able to watch the five-season Money Heist. The Money Heist: Korea’s characters and plot revelations shine the most. In other words, you only need to watch a few episodes to get to know Denver, Professor, Tokyo, and even Berlin.

This is the core of any good show. Along with the shrewd manner in which character development proceeds from episode to episode, Money Heist: Korea could be one of the most popular K-dramas on Netflix.

Money Heist: Korea is also notable for its tension-building. It can feel difficult to predict what might happen next, given the high stakes for police, robbers and hostages. In the same way, who should we be rooting for?

The robbers have taken schoolchildren hostage at gunpoint and are committing one of the most heinous crimes in history. They have always put their safety first, and the only group that has so far hurt the hostages (aside from Denver shooting Mu-sun in his leg) is police.

We are eager to see where Money Heist Korea takes us and what new twists our favourite bank robbers come up with. Thankfully, there is more content to be released before year’s end.

Is There a Season 2?

The heist isn’t over, which means there will be another season! Season 1 left us wondering about many things, including the past of Professor Seon Woo-jin and his involvement in the reunification. The question of what happens to the Professor and Seon Woo Jin is also open. Is the show going to follow the original or will it add new twists?

Season 2 will provide the answers to many of these questions. The bigger question is: How will this heist impact the unification of the Koreas? There is still great tension between the people. Is this going to break the newly unified Korea? Or will it lead to a new path of development that is more in favor of the people? We can’t help but want more about the idea of a united Korean peninsula.

Money Heist Korea Ending Explained

We also get a glimpse into the past of Professor, which may help us uncover the true reason behind this heist. It is possible that his involvement in unifying the two territories could be the source of bigger problems in the new world, which is something we should look forward to.

We also see new beginnings and possible endings for many characters (*cough* Berlin *cough*). We also see better coordination between the heisters, which was lacking at the beginning. This is good news considering the challenges they will face next. Detective Cha Mu-hyeok starts to suspect the Professor’s identity, and she goes ahead to meet him. This could be bad news for Professor, but it also means that Seon Woojin has an important piece in her hands which could reveal their true intentions.
