Radiant Season 2 just finished last month in February, and the discussion about the anime’s new season is about to begin. In this article, I’ll go over Radiant Season 3 and all the additional details you should know about the new season that is coming up. Before we start, be aware that this article may contain official spoilers from previous seasons of the Radiant anime. If you don’t think spoilers are your thing, I suggest you do not read this article. If they aren’t a problem for you, we’ll get going. The Radiant Season 3 Updates: When to look forward
Radiant Season 1 was launched in October 2018 and featured a total of 21 episodes during its first season. The anime is based on Tony Valente’s comic of the same name. The second season of Radiant anime premiered in October, which was exactly a year after the premiere season. The second season also included 21 episodes, so the total number of Radiant episodes that have been released to date totals 42.
There isn’t yet any official confirmation about Radiant Season 3, but it is highly probable that it will be out very soon. It may be following the pattern of previous seasons. Radiant Season 3 is likely to be coming out in October 2020, and as with the previous seasons, it could also be 21 episodes. Once the anime is officially announced, we’ll notify you.
The creator of this series is Yusuke Fujita, while the script is created by Makoto Uezu. Daiki Fukuoka and Seiji Kishi serve as the directors of the show. You can also view the anime season that has been released through Crunchyroll as well as Funimation, and both have officially licensed the show.

Radiant Synopsis: What’s the show’s theme?
Radiant was the name of a comic book written and illustrated by Tony Valente. The plot is an interesting one. We are introduced to an infant named Seth. Seth was victimized by the monsters that are called Nemesis, which are descending from the sky. However, Seth somehow escaped and gained supernatural abilities. The characters who have magical powers are called sorcerers.
Seth’s aim is to eradicate the enemy by locating their source of power, which is known as Radiant. So, he embarks on a quest to locate the source of Radiant and cleanse Earth to be a better place. Let us know what you think about Radiant Season 3 in the comments section below.

The Radiant Season 2 anime was adapted to the manga’s storyline
The first season was adapted from four manga volumes that ran up to Chapter 28 (although certain panels were added at the start of the Second season). The story was picked up again in Volume 5 of the second season.
In the early episodes in the second season, they skipped the minor story elements involving the shopping experience in Artemis (which was a better explanation of the reason why Seth was stuck with a half-broom) and economics debates by members of the Merchant Barons.
The moment that Melie, Doc, and Ocoho first left in the Forest of Caillte, there was a brief skip that revealed the way time behaved in the forest of enchantment (Chapter 44 also explains how time paradoxes can be prevented).
In general, the series tends to skip the crude jokes, particularly the explicit sexually explicit jokes of Myr. When Myr’s character was introduced, the animation skimmed his comical singing, his hilarious poems he wrote to his wife, and the scene where the pixie was seen urinating in front of the Merlin statue, only to flee by a smell spell. Radiant Episode 21 featured Myr singing a sad ballad to honor his wife’s memory and all sexual references were removed.
The character designs and their actions were toned down in order to be more child-friendly. Jill Dryad was much more sexy and flirtatious when she appeared in the manga. In addition, Jill healed Seth by “brooding” Seth with her sap (which involved her pushing him against in her… You know the story).
The manga depicts the queen Boadicea stripped down her troops at the castle, her face was visible when she was dressed.
However, the first part of the anime’s second season followed the manga quite closely, this time with that of Ocoho as well as Diabel.
The show also took care to fill out Chapter 35 by depicting the emotional intensity of Melie’s fury at Seth (minus any jokes about Boobrie being a scrotum in The “giant Scrotum Nemesis”).
In the Inquisition attack, the manga’s expertly crafted action choreography was streamlined so that it was easier to animate. For instance, Dragunov’s fight with Seth was drastically reduced, showing only a tiny bit of Dragunov’s ability to teleport.
However, some fight scenes were added. The airborne battle with Lord De Gulis and the Baron Cristolom was first drawn by the Manga as a funny set of bonus pages that are included at the conclusion of each chapter.
Sagramore was able to fight back and speak to Mordred instead of being killed in the course of a surprise attack. Mordred’s deceit was a bit worse in the animated version despite the fact that the story clarified that Mordred was not a person who felt emotions like normal people do.
The show filled in the gaps in the action by introducing additional scenes. Melie and Lieselotte were also given additional lines. Myr and Jill’s situation because of the disappearance of Fantasia was discussed earlier instead of being given an important plot point from Chapter 69.
The change also meant Seth didn’t have Myr at the time Dragunov first was capturing Seth.
The most significant change was demonstrating the reason Captain Dragunov had the motivation to change his mind against the Inquisition as Thaumaturge was disappointed by General Torque who had said that he planned to take Cyfandir without a lot of bloodshed.
The anime also featured Dragunov getting together with his fellow soldiers; this was logical because the anime had created these characters as side characters, while the manga didn’t.
In the end, the pacing was faster and the second season was a complete six manga volumes as the show didn’t depend on filler material this time, aside from certain flashback scenes that provided emotional impact.

This means that it’s likely that the Radiant Season 3 anime should begin the story in Chapter 76 of Manga Volume 11. Manga fans who only read English to keep reading ahead of the series will have to wait until the end of May 2020 for the release of the new volume within North America. Radiant Season 3 release date could be delayed until 2021
In the latest update, Studio Lerche, NHK, or any other company involved in producing the series have not officially confirmed a Radiant Season 3 release date. The production of the Radiant sequel has been confirmed.
But, the final credit of Radiant S2 Episode 21 proclaimed, “The adventure continues. We’ll see you next time!” Unfortunately, teasing the possibility of a Radiant sequel isn’t an official announcement of an upcoming third season. If the news is confirmed, this article is going to be revised with pertinent details. It’s still possible to speculate on when or if the Radiant Season 3 premiere date is scheduled for the near future.
The Radiant anime might have been well-loved both globally as well as in Japan. However, the most significant problem is the absence of source material to make Radiant S3. If Valente can publish three manga volumes by 2020, the series will run all the way to Radiant Volume 15.
The length of the storyline and whether Lerche will add more filler content, it’s possible NHK might be aiming to premiere Radiant Season 3 annually, that would mean in October 2020. In the event of a most unlikely scenario, Radiant S3 may need to be delayed until 2021.

Radiant Season 3 spoilers (plot synopsis/summary)
When we last saw The Radiant series, Seth, Melie, and Doc were headed back to Artemis with newly-minted Princess Ocoho and her faithful horse Dracoon.
They’ll soon nearly collide with fast-flying wizards who are training for the forthcoming Broom Broom Cup Survival competition.
They are almost able to encounter Taj who was coming out of Rumble Town to enter the Broom-flying race. It turns out that the Broom Broom Cup Survival is an open-to-all-team race in which sorcerers can make use of offensive items from magic in the course, similar to Mario Kart style.
This course is quite dangerous compared to the previous races, featuring the possibility of water hazards and fantastical vortexes.
Looking for a second man, Taj is able to convince Seth to fly along with him. Then, of course, the self-centered Nick is yet again their rival. Even more disturbing, Nick has managed to influence the other teams to side with his cause, rendering the contest unfair in an unofficial 5 vs. 1 match!
Note: There’s a chance Lerche might introduce filler episodes towards the middle of Radiant S3. The manga mentions briefly that Ocoho was looking for sights during their adventure to Artemis but they didn’t reveal their adventure. The anime may be able to introduce a gap between the conclusion of the race to the broom and the next major story episode.
As the race concludes in a bizarre fashion and even more bizarre is that Grimm takes Hameline’s Nemesis out of their secure place inside Artemis Vibrariums. In a bid to find an old ally, Seth and his friends are joined by Yaga to find Grimm.
By using Melie’s trace magic, they head to Bome which is the capitol of the Eastern Townships. It is also the home of the Inquisition and also the home to one of the most powerful groupings in the world of Domitors — affluent Tamers of Nemeses.
In the process of avoiding a massive flying octopus, which has come up from the depths of the sea, they finally land aboard a civilian aircraft, heading towards the proper direction.

While traveling, they meet General Inquisitor Sargon who has been safeguarding civilians in Pharenos South from infected sorcerers. Sargon appears to be less tolerant in comparison to the other Inquisitors, as well as judges Seth by his actions, not just his appearance.
It is now clear that Sargon is headed to Bome for a meeting with members of the council of Inquisitor Generals.
Inquisitors can be dangerous, Seth must deal with the hyena-like creature known as the Mesnie. On first sight, an old crone multi-eyed Mesnie is a terrifying combination which devours sorcerers to obtain the various ailments and powers.
Mesnie can control creatures to follow their orders. The Mesnie also controls the gigantic Octopus that lives just under the surface of the cloud.
Strong with only two, the Mesnie wanders as a group and they’re in search of a mate! All the joined “brothers as well as sister” from the Mesnie want Doc’s unique strength.
Fortunately, though Doc remains in his youthful body, he still has the ability from Pen Draig’s Armor that Pen Draig has… And Doc hasn’t yet unlocked all its power! Doc attempts to flee the powerful Mesnie using the Pen Draig Armor, which has 5 combat profiles including the flight-capable Dragonfly. All of these risks are serious enough, but Seth is taken aback by the powers of the Domitor Sorceress Luppa Lyco.
Although she seems quiet and shy, she manages to capture Seth, Melie, and Ocoho and also an escapee Nemesis unleashed by Mesnie. As they are entangled in the Domitor’s novel, the entire group is trapped in their favorite memories from the past.
The Domitors aren’t pleased with Seth for bringing down Hameline and their operations is a disaster in Rumble Town. Luppa wants revenge for Hameline and takes Seth and his companions to Bome to confront their fate in the hands of the spooky Domitor leader, Adhes, who is the guide of the Domitors.
