We last saw Shomin Sample in 2015, which was six years ago. We are excited for Shomin Sample Season 2. Shomin Sample has a lengthy title. It is actually Shomin Sample: I Was Abducted by an Elite All-Girls School as a Sample Commoner.

Shomin Season 1: Plotline

Shomin Sample was a comedy harem series that dealt with the social divide and its sexual implications. Our protagonist Kimito Kagurazaka is a normal high school student. He is forced to enroll in the all-girls school Seikain as a student. This is where the noble female students are kept from the rest of society in order to protect their innocence.

Many school graduates are unable to deal with the outside world, also known as hikikomori. These young women can’t be themselves because they don’t interact with other genders in their daily lives.

The school decided to kidnap Kimito, a common man, to address the problem. This will allow the “common man” to help the girls get to know the real world outside. Kimito was disappointed to learn that the school didn’t consider him a candidate because they believed he was a homosexual with an obsession with muscle. This is a very sad boy. The school decided that Kimito was not a threat to the purity of the innocent girls.

He learns that he will either face exile or castration if he is proven wrong and agrees to be a gay boy. He meets Aika Tenkubashi shortly after his enrollment. Aika can be shy, stubborn, or pretentious. Aika is innocently fascinated with the outside world. We will later see how they develop relationships with each other and with other girls.

Shomin Sample Season 2 – Renewal Status

The next anime season will likely be compared to other anime if the studio decides to make the sequel or if there is still a high demand from fans. Silver Link Studios, who created Shomin Sample’s debut season, has yet to make an announcement about Shomin Sample Season 2. Six years is a long time for the studio, if they are looking to create another sequel.

It is an adaptation of 11 volumes of a light novel. Because Shomin Sample’s original season was only 12 episodes, the anime only covered a handful of chapters. There is plenty of content and the story can be continued from the beginning in the next season. If there are still strong demands from the fans, the makers have the ability to bring back the melodramatic plot. If it is officially announced, we will share all details.
