Control Z Season 3 Review
The Mexican teen drama Control Z is one of Netflix’s most surprising recent hits. Control Z is a mix of internet-themed drama, soapy drama, and a fast-paced story. Its 40-minute run-time makes it easy to watch and even easier to binge.
The second season took the same formula but increased the stakes with mixed results. It was still entertaining, but it became clear that the show had an archetype that it was adhering to, and this began to show in its episodes. Season 3 unabashedly retreads familiar territory with a new case of blackmail, giving nods to the first season. This third season is naturally more dramatic, with more mystery, and with more character issues.
After the events of season 2, Season 3 continues. Principal Susana is killed when there was a big fight on the roof. This is the beginning of Season 3. It skips between the events at school and that night.
Sofia and Javi are still close. They often visit escape rooms together (important foreshadowing for future!) Raul is hosting parties. Maria and Natalia are gone, while other characters from previous seasons still lurk around.
When Raul is presented with a “gift” by a drone, the drama begins. The inside contains a note that reads “Do you think I’d forget?” as well as a threatening polaroid photograph. The other children receive a second message from @allyoursecrets. This teases the kids about the events that took place the night Susana died, as well as other secrets they are keeping. Who sent this message? But who sent it?
This is the core of the mystery. Sofia sets out to find the person responsible for blackmailing the victims. This is a familiar scenario, but Sofi’s investigation has been a little more complicated than usual. There are the usual characters who give suspicious looks and exaggerated side-eye glances, but others have their own agendas.

This was an issue that existed for the previous seasons, but it is more apparent this season due to the same blackmailing hook as the clue-solving.
There are many subplots around the main plot that add to the story’s length. These subplots have some development but they are secondary to the main mystery. A separate thread is about Gerry who meets Bernando, a newcomer, and they hit it off together.
Sofia’s father is still in prison and a subplot involving the theatre group is also included into the main mystery. However, it has mixed results.

Season 3 is more difficult than the previous seasons to make its own unique place in the teen-mystery world. Elite is well-known for its use of police footage as a hook and several other timelines in the framing of the episodes. Not only that, but many of the romantic subplots and montages are heavily inspired by the Spanish juggernaut.
Despite its flaws, Control Z is still a guilty pleasure series that will keep you watching to see how it ends. This Mexican series almost bows out with a final season, but no news on a follow up.
Although it’s not perfect, you can still enjoy the first two seasons if you enjoyed them.
Control Z Season 3 Plot

Both seasons have so far featured someone who infiltrates people’s lives using technology. Raul did this by disclosing secrets, while Alex did this by putting lives at risk to avenge Luis’ death. What could the third season look like?
It is almost certain that it will be related to Pablo stealing Raul’s money after Susanna was thrown from the roof. There is also the possibility that students will attempt to cover Susanna’s murder. This will create a lot of problems, and someone will seek justice or answers.
Sofia (Ana Valeria Becerril), an outsider, is caught up in a mystery social media account. Season 1 of Control Z sees a hacker use the account to reveal secrets of National School students, including their identities. Sofia’s. Control Z’s third and final season pits Sofia and her friends again against anonymous account _allyoursecrets_. Although Control Z will be joining the list of shows ending in 2022, the Control Z finale was a satisfying one.

Let’s take an in-depth look at Control Z Season 3:
Sofia and Raul (YankelStevan) are surrounded by all your secrets supporters. Sofia discovers that someone is still leading the followers. She convinces them to take off their masks and reveal all the secrets they hold. Sofia reveals all of your secrets are Bruno’s (Mauro Sanchez Navarro).
He maintained complete control over it, despite all his claims. All your followers turn against you. Sofia and Raul are reunited with Javi (Michael Ronda), Natalia Macarena Garcia Romero, and all the other characters. They must atone and attend the National School graduation ceremony.
Sofia is the star of the show. She starts her confession about Susana (Thanya) Lopez’s death. Several instances of this occur during her speech. There are flashes of their dreams followed by images of a future in which all of them do community service. Javi’s father is not visible in jail.

Sofia and Javi met at a cafe to chat months later. Sofia tells Javi that she is happy for Natalia, but misses him. He tells Sofia that he cannot let go of one thing, which is why Natalia was returned by all your secrets. He continues to explain why Raul has not stopped managing the account. All was done to get her back and break them apart.
He then asks her if she knew it was Raul. Javi then asks her if she was aware that it was Raul. She says no and denies that he reached the wrong conclusion. They declare that they adore each other. Sofia walks off. Raul waits outside the cafe to collect Sofia. He asks her about Javi’s plans, but she teases and then they ride off.

This gives us a hint of the next season. This trailer reminds us how season two ended. The group makes a deal to keep Susana’s involvement in her death secret and refuses to talk to anyone about it.
Just as the group was about to move forward with their dreams and graduating after fifteen months, another thing began to taunt them. The Avenger, who caused trouble in Season 2, was similar to how hackers enter and cause more problems in their lives.
