BIOGRAPHY Riri Williams
Girl Genius

Riri Williams was born after her father died. She was named after her stepfather. Riri was raised in Chicago by her mother and her stepfather. A series of tests revealed that Riri Williams was intelligent at a super genius level by the time she was five years old. Riri’s passion for technology grew as she grew. She preferred to be alone and invent new machines than make friends or watch TV.
Riri was 11 years old when she began college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Riri was fascinated by Tony Stark, a billionaire scientist and businessman. She built a suit of armor similar to Iron Man’s. Riri stole materials from campus, including the robotics laboratory. When a security team came to her dorm to question her about the armor, Riri donned it and fled, making her decision to quit school.

Riri was testing her armor on a flight across the United States when she captured two inmates fleeing from the New Mexico State Penitentiary. Her armor was however damaged. Riri returned home to fix the suit and explain to her mother that her actions had been revealed to Tony Stark. Stark supported Riri’s decision as a Super Hero and offered his support. Riri was now guided by an Artificial Intelligence programmed with Stark’s persona.
It’s Well-suited

Riri Williams is an ordinary human being, but her extraordinary intelligence makes her one of the most intelligent people in the world.
Although her initial suit of armor was bulky, ungainly, and clunky, it gave her superhuman strength, flight ability, magnetic power, and the ability for opponents to be contained in an energy bubble. These abilities are carried over to Riri’s upgraded suit. It is more sleek and allows her to fire energy blasts out of the palms of her gloves. Additionally, Riri has an interface to Tony Stark’s computerized mind that acts as her main operating system.
Attracting Enemies
Ironheart is still relatively new to the Super Hero scene but she has faced off against many super-powered adversaries. Animax is a mutant criminal who can create large, rampaging beasts from her DNA. She confronts Ironheart early on. Soon after, Riri faces the Armadillo and Lady Octopus. All of them she defeats. Riri teams up with Pepper Potts (a part-time Super Hero and business executive) to defeat the Inhuman crime lord Tomoe, the Techno Golem, and her minions, The Biohack Ninja.
Ironheart suffered her first defeat at the hands of the Will O’ the Wisp. During the fight, she is unconscious and Tony Stark A.I. The Avengers are called in for assistance.

Ironheart’s greatest enemy is Lucia von Bardas (a criminal cyborg) who claims to be the new leader in her native country, Latveria. Ironheart sets out on an unofficial mission to Latveria in order to confront von Bardas after she launches a terrorist attack against U.S. soil. Riri, after defeating the Cyborg in battle declares herself to be the new ruler of the nation–at least until free elections were held shortly afterwards.
Riri also fights Hijack, a mutant, and Melina Vostokoff the Iron Maiden. They are both hired by Stark Industries’ renegade board to seize the Ironheart armor.
Ironheart Riri Williams ?

Riri Williams, a young prodigy, was determined to become an astronaut. Her life was forever altered by an act of violence. Riri donned Tony Stark’s armored shoes and a high-tech suit that she had made herself when Tony couldn’t be Iron Man.

Ironheart’s Origin

Riri Williams, a 15-year-old M.I.T. student, was a bright and talented student. When she decided to make a high-tech armor set like Iron Man, Riri Williams was a brilliant 15-year old student at M.I.T. She quickly succeeded in building the armor she wanted using parts she had borrowed from campus labs. The patchwork suit she attempted to make was destroyed by her first attempt at superheroics. Riri persevered with her work on the Mark-41 armor and caught the attention of Tony Stark.
Stark was the first to ask her for an Artificial Intelligence in order to make the best of the armor. Stark was intrigued but AI was extremely expensive. Iron Man became incapacitated as Civil War II began to unfold. Stark knew Riri was a friend and the future of super heroes, but he had already planned ahead. Stark had built an advanced AI construct of him to aid her during his recovery in a coma. Riri had finally found the AI she required and her suit was complete.
After her stepfather and best friend were killed in a drive-by shooting, Riri was inspired to be an armored hero. Riri was determined to find a name for a superhero that would be more appropriate than Iron Girl and Iron Maiden. She chose Ironheart to honor her fallen friends.
Riri is Ironheart and relies on the support of her mother, Chicago, who will always worry about the young superhero.
Ironheart’s Abilities and Powers
Riri Williams is an engineering prodigy and has a super-genius level intellect. Stark’s armor is comparable to hers, and Stark provided his digital consciousness as an AI mentor to help her use it.
Ironheart’s flight is possible thanks to thrusters in her feet and hands. Riri built her arsenal. It includes precision missiles and laser beams as well as explosive repulsors and grenades. Riri created Ironheart 3.0 after her suit was destroyed in Thanos’s attack. It features a magenta-black design that is different from Iron Man’s traditional red and gold. She continues to tinker with engineering and add new technology like an experimental stealth mode or solar power cells.

Ironheart was first discovered by the Champions, a young team made up of Miles Morales, Kamala Khan and Kamala Khan. Riri, not one to make friends easily, was initially nervous about joining the team. But she quickly became a part of the team. Riri’s adventures with the team took them around the globe, into space and even to another dimension. She was a valuable member of the team because of her quick thinking and inventions.
After a brief time, she went on her own and returned to M.I.T. where she built a new AI based on the design of a friend she had lost. As they navigated the new norm together, she was redirected to the Champions because of a new law that prohibited teenagers from becoming superheroes.
Ironheart’s Signature Villains

Riri is relatively new in the crime-fighting world, but she was the first to jump in rocket-powered boots. Riri faced her first challenge against Inhuman-controlled ninjas. She faced formidable foes later, in Thanos, and Man-Thing as part of the Champions.
Ironheart, who had returned from her solo adventures to Chicago, was approached by Midnight’s Fire, a mystical villain. He offered her a spot in the Ten Rings, which is a global mercenary organization. Riri declined. With the help of Doctor Strange, the Unstoppable Wasp and Shuri, Okoye Of Wakanda, she tracked Midnight’s Fire and eventually found him, along with her biological father.

Riri Williams in Black Panther 2 & the MCU

Riri appears poised to replace Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, she won’t likely have Tony Stark’s mentorship after Avengers: Endgame. She’ll fit right in the newer roster, whether she’s part of the multiverse, a broken timeline, or a new hero inspired by Tony’s sacrifice.
Riri’s role in the MCU remains a mystery. However, we know Dominique Thorne will portray her. She will also appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before her own show. Her addition is certain to be welcome. We could even see the Champions teaming up in the MCU. Marvel is on Disney+’s bright future.
