Dragon Ball has shown many strong forms, from the Ultra Instinct and the Super Namekian. These forms are power boosters and lifesavers in Dragon Ball’soverall narrative.
Some are stronger than others, naturally. The problem lies in Dragon Ball’s general narrative. Power boosters that appear to have major power tend to be ignored and pushed to the side by the Saiyans or half-Saiyans. The forms are able to help their users fight Saiyans as well as main villains with their unique powers and abilities.
Dragon Ball’s 10 strongest forms, ranked from strongest to least
1) Ultra Instinct
This is the strongest form of Dragon Balllead characters Goku. It’s remarkable that Goku has been able only to tap into this form for a very short time. Goku seems to be improving his skills, whether it’s knocking Jiren about or using Vegeta’s Spirit Fission infusion to create a Zen-like form that defeats Moro.
Ultra Instinct, an angel-level technique, is also available to Angels at all times. This makes most mortal blows against them useless, if not impossible. Ultra Instinct is faster than the gods and more calm than the gods. It is a focus on movement and can knock people flat if not used properly.
2) Ultra Ego
This God of Destruction level Vegeta form is the ultimate form. It rivals Goku for sheer power in the Dragon Ball Supermanga. Ultra Ego gives users the ability to use Hakai to extraordinary levels. Although Vegeta’s initial Hakai destroyed small rocks, he was able to summon enough Hakai later against Granolah to take down a whole planet.
The energy of the user is increased by the damage they absorb. Users will fight harder and more if they give up on the battle. There is one problem: the lust for war and the sheer ego booster can lead to users being rash and violent. It’s easy to see why Vegeta liked it so much.
3) Super Saiyan God (and variant)
This is an upgraded Super Saiyan form, capable of dancing with the Gods of Destruction and Kale, as well as Broly’s Legendary Super Saiyan states. The Super Saiyan God is considered a legend. He even claimed to be able to bring Gods down to his knees. Beerus and Goku fought for supremacy, but it is not quite at that level yet.
The Super Saiyan God has a godly aura. It can see and use god techniques to paralyze foes, absorb and nullify attacks, and even create a godly aura. It values techniques and predictions more than raw power. Super Saiyan Blue is a better fighting variant and Goku has used it as his main form since Dragon Ball Super.
4) Ultimate Gohan
Although this may seem like a hot idea, Ultimate Gohan is indeed a powerful form of Gohan. Officially, he is using his SS2 powers in a normal state without the weight it places upon his body. Piccolo’s consistent training helped Gohan surpass SS2/3 and keep up with Super Saiyan Blue. Gohan is pushed aside by the narrative. He is still quite strong, even though he doesn’t get to display his strength as often.
Majin Buu was effectively overthrown by the form, and he absorbed Gotenks to become SS3. Super’sGoku was forced to combine Super Saiyan Blue with Kaio-Ken later on. This was to match his son who was already overpowering him in Super Saiyan Blue. This was in the manga meaning being able ring Kefla with his powers. In the anime it meant being capable of hitting Beerus, the only other one after Vegeta and Super Saiyan Goku.
5) Frieza’s forms (Golden included)
The universal tyrant Frieza of Dragon Ball Z is not to be outdone either by Super Saiyans or Saiyans. His first form had enough power to kill Planet Vegeta. His second form could knock out all Z fighters. His third form almost killed Piccolo. And his final form was powerful enough to kill Vegeta. Even though Frieza boosted him in his final form, he still managed to keep pace with SS1 Goku.
Frieza, who had attained his Golden form at the age of SS1-3, went into battle with Vegeta and Goku at SSB. However, he lost too much time and died. He was able to make a better showing in Dragon Ball Super’sTournament of Power where he was crucial to the victory of Universe 7.
It will be time to see if Frieza’s Golden Form has any upgrades, but he was able deflect Hakai from Jiren.
6) Super Saiyan (1-3, plus varients)
Since the Frieza Saga, the Legendary Super Saiyan status has been a powerful power boost. This transformation transforms Saiyans’ hair into gold and gives them a gold battle aura. It also increases their strength, speed and hitting power by nearly 50 percent. This transformation is triggered by hardships or strong emotions, as demonstrated by Future Trunks (Goku, Vegeta and Broly in Dragon Ball Z) and Super.
Super Saiyan is a Dragon Ballstaple. It’s featured on posters, marketing materials, and video games. These forms offer a speed and power advantage that is unmatched by any of the forms below.
Only the Super Saiyan state can outsmart Kid Buu or Perfect Cell because of the power and sheer ferocity of the techniques used (Gohan’s SS2/Father/Son Kamehameha executing Cell, and Goku’s SS3/2 Spirit Bomb & follow-up Kamehameha executing Kid Buu).
7) Majin Buu forms
There are many forms of the horrifyingly unpredictable Majin Buu, Dragon Ball Z.
The entire Buu transformation series is horrifying, from the happy, fat, chocolate-loving main Buu, which turns people into chocolate and eats them, to Super Buu, who absorbed many people and was more than a match to Vegetto, and the evil Kid Buu, who was responsible for most Supreme Kais being murdered,
Kid Buu is the worst. Super Buu had some personality, and could be tamed or thrown off his guard due to his temper and ever-growing desire for power. But Kid Buu is the worst.
Kid Buu is completely animalistic and not interested in communicating or talking. He prefers to beat down animals and kill them savagely. Super Buu brought the Human Extinction Attack to Earth, and Kid Buu was able destroy the Earth and resurrect himself.
8) Cell’s forms
Cell is an android that Dr. Gero modified to become stronger by absorbing other androids in Dragon Ball Z. Cell was an android modified by Dr. Gero to become stronger. He needed energy to sustain his imperfect form. This he obtained by absorbing large cities filled with people. He took advantage of Piccolo’s exhausted state and absorbed 17.
Cell’s semi-perfect form was able to tank multiple Neo Tri Beams of Tien but he was still held back by SS2 Vegeta and was narrowly killed. He finally took advantage Vegeta’s pride and became perfect in Dragon Ball Z’s Android Saga. Perfect Cell could defeat Vegeta, surpass SS2 enhanced Trunks and kill Android 16.
9) Super Namekian
Although the Super Namekian Piccolo form is a cheat, it is Piccolo’s strongest and most important form. It was responsible for Piccolo’s survival against many foes after the Frieza saga. Dragon Ball’snarrative favors either the main villain or, as mentioned above, Saiyans or half-Sayains.
Piccolo’s Super Namekian form, which is a fusion countless Namekian warriors, allows him to move faster, hit harder with his attacks, and gain three times as much knowledge and endurance. He was able to defeat Android 17, even gained an advantage over Cell Junior, and was strong enough against Frost’s final form.
Fans will not be disappointed if Piccolo gets more from the Dragon Ball Super Hero movie, as he has had a win for a while.
The Kaio-Ken technique, which can increase the user’s ki by a fraction of a second, is the first “power boost” technique to be seen in Dragon Ball. Users’ auras become crimson and their speed and power increases by a certain amount (times 5, 10, and 20 in the anime, but 100 in the Lord Slugmovie).
This power-enhancing technique helped Goku win early victories over Vegeta and Nappa. It’s low because it was obsolete after the Super Saiyan transformations. Although Goku can fuse Kaio Ken with his Super Saiyan Blues, the Kaio Ken is largely unutilized due to power drains as well as physically damaging drawbacks.
