Beastars Season 2 Episode 12 Synopsis
Haru apologizes for disrupting the mood after her instincts of wanting food stop. Juno confronts Haru at school and challenges her to have sex with Legoshi.

Summary of the plot
Haru is still stuck in the position of pushing Legoshi’s arm towards her mouth, but eventually her instincts stop and they begin to withdraw. Haru apologizes for the behavior, but she believes that they can overcome it. Legoshi is reluctant to go back, afraid that things will get worse. Haru explains that she feels guilty for ruining the moment, since she saw Legoshi having an erection. Legoshi is embarrassed and suggests that they just go to bed.
Haru agrees to take his tank top with him so that she can wash it. Legoshi is dumb for thinking they could be together because he saved her. The night passes and the two of them go to bed, leaving the hotel at dawn. Haru thanks Legoshi for saving herself and continues to talk as they walk back towards Cherryton Academy.
Legoshi is taken to the school’s hospital infirmary for treatment of his injuries. Legoshi’s behavior is reprimanded by the housemother, who says that if he came back 30 minutes later, she would have reported it to school faculty.

Legoshi pleads with the Shishigumi to kidnap Haru, but the housemother is more worried about Haru spending the night with him. Juno visits and interrupts the two, asking for a private conversation with Legoshi. Juno approaches Legoshi and is amazed at how Legoshi has become a hero. However, Legoshi rebuffs her advances. Juno recalls what he said to her about how it is soothing for one animal to contact another species and agrees to let him hold her.
Legoshi doesn’t see the need and he seems relaxed. Juno thinks that Legoshi might have fallen in love with Haru. Juno finally meets the rabbit after Juno leaves the infirmary. Juno politely excuses herself, as Haru is planning to visit Legoshi. Haru walks away, nervously claiming she has no business here. Juno follows Haru and Haru begins to run away. Juno grabs Haru’s hand on a staircase. Juno confronts Haru, questioning her if Haru believes she makes Legoshi happy.

Haru confronts Haru and questions her about her forwardness. She demands respect from Haru as she admits that she is a senior. Juno apologizes to Haru and politely questions Haru if the rabbit was involved. Haru mocks Juno and confirms that she can make Legoshi happy, while Juno passes on to him that Juno is also attracted to Legoshi with a smug smile. Juno is next to Haru and starts sniffing Haru’s body. Haru becomes nervous. Juno concludes Legoshi has never had sex, and Haru is unable to compete for her affection. She’s confident that Haru will be defeated tonight at the Meteor Festival.
Kai informs Legoshi that he will rest when he has finished his last task. However, Legoshi insists on helping the art department with its equipment. Kai interrupts Legoshi and asks him to take a break so he doesn’t have to worry about any potential club problems. Legoshi asks this question, and Sanu answers by telling him about the loss of contact with Louis since his disappearance. Juno suddenly makes a grand entrance to the club’s tent, complete with all her makeup and beautiful costumes.

This quickly grabs everyone’s attention. Her presence inspires everyone to perform their best, especially in Louis’s absence. Legoshi, deeply in thought about Haru’s fate, only wishes Juno good luck for his upcoming performance. Juno assures Kai that he will be able to fulfill her request later.
After they agreed to meet at sunset yesterday, Haru arrives at the festival’s center expecting Legoshi, but he is not there. Haru, still in her flower shop, is overwhelmed by recent events.
However, she is able to be brought out of her stupor when the drama club’s performance starts. Haru is drawn to Juno’s dance as she walks towards the crowd. Legoshi looks for Haru. Haru is attracted to Juno’s beauty and strength when she watches her. It wasn’t being loved or eaten by Legoshi that was her greatest fear. Instead, it was the realization that she was a small rabbit who made her avoid Legoshi. She now knows that Legoshi was her only true friend and can’t bear to be without him.

Legoshi is starting to worry that Haru might have been kidnapped yet again, but is able faintly to pick up her scent. He tries to determine how far she is away with his nose but Haru blocks him with her raised hand. Legoshi struggles to think of a coherent speech, but Haru offers to speak first as the crowd cheers. Juno thanks her audience over a loudspeaker and announces that she will introduce a hero. Kai signals to direct the spotlight towards Legoshi, interrupting their important confessions.
Juno invites Legoshi to take the stage in recognition of his heroism, and Tao pulls Legoshi away. Legoshi is unable to see Haru in the crowd once he has taken to the stage. Legoshi whispers to Juno that he didn’t know about this sudden development, but Juno ignores him and continues to tell Juno about Legoshi’s rescue for a herbivore. Juno cites it as an example of carnivores’ generous acts to protect herbivores. After experiencing the horrors of the Black Market, Shishigumi, Legoshi internalizes that she is wrong. Juno asserts that the hidden strength of a carnivore is a great asset and that this is their true nature.

In front of cheering crowds, she ends her speech by holding Legoshi’s hands. Juno then drags Legoshi to a meteor so they can light a candle together. Legoshi attempts to dissuade her, as they are not a couple. Juno is certain that they will not be misunderstood. She wants Legoshi to stop suffering any more by his struggle against the darkness of society. As it would bring an end to their difficult lives, she offers Legoshi her companionship.
Haru slowly walks up the stairs, seemingly giving up on the possibility of being in a romantic relationship with Legoshi.
Juno made a move on Haru and it was clear that they would never accept a relationship. Juno would have his way and Haru would be content to let Juno live her normal life. But she stops when he calls her name. Haru is furious and questions why Haru would choose to be with Juno when everyone thinks they are a great couple. Haru is told by Legoshi that Juno is a similar species but she doesn’t share Legoshi’s pessimistic views. Haru would prefer to be part of the process.

Haru refuses to accept this because she is still guilt-driven by the terrible experiences they have had. However, Legoshi believes that all people will experience them. Haru attempts to break the ties by making Legoshi accept that they are not meant for each other. Legoshi explains his motivations for saving Haru. He initially considered Haru possessive as his prey, which made him feel confused. But Legoshi eventually finds resolve and declares that he will never eat Haru. Haru begs him to stop, as she is unsure that he can eat a rabbit.
Legoshi runs away, before Haru could ask why he was so certain. Haru continues to doubt that a wolf will eat a rabbit, and Legoshi suggests that she eat her to relieve her pain. Legoshi, however, attempts to explain to Haru that there is a simple reason why he should be with Haru. Haru finds herself at a spot that overlooks the city and faces Legoshi. Legoshi finally admits to his love for Haru. Haru is assured that he will do everything he can to make himself stronger and overcome his instincts and societal norms. Haru assures Legoshi that she will be there for him.

Juno is the only person at the Meteor Festival upset by Legoshi’s rejection. But, as Juno watches her peers at the drama club getting along because of her, she smiles. Jack later asks Legoshi about his summer. Legoshi just replied that he couldn’t eat watermelon, and suggested they go buy some. While Legoshi is happy, Jack is temporarily confused. Jack requests that he slow down because of his short legs. Louis is still missing, according to the school newspaper.
An unknown carnivore is preparing to leave the school’s bathroom. A trash bin near the school’s bathroom sink contains an empty pill packet and crumpled paper. Legoshi meets the unknown carnivore as he walks down the school hall. Legoshi informs the unknown carnivore that people were searching for him and invites him to go with him. Legoshi stops when he looks around, confused by the reason why the carnivore smiles.
BEASTARS Season 2 Episode 12

Season two of “Beastars” is just as shocking and surprising as season 1. The series’ final episode features Legoshi battling Riz, a carnivore who killed Tem before it began. Louis also leaves the Shishigumi and goes in search for Legoshi. He gives him his leg. Legoshi accepts the offer and becomes more resilient. This power allows him to defeat Riz. Each minute of the final season, particularly the ending, is a revelation about the characters that moves them to a new place.
Louis escapes his fate
It is surprising to see Louis, a herbivore in the conclusion of “Beastars Season 2”, offer Legoshi. This action has a profound impact on both the evolution of Louis and the grey wolf.
As viewers know, Louis was branded at birth. He will be killed, sold on black market and eventually become one of Legoshi’s meats. He tries to regain control of his life. He attempts to be a carnivore through joining the Shishigumi, despite his body refusing meat. His position of authority makes him untouchable, though it can be risky and difficult to maintain.

Louis can’t transform his life unless he helps Legoshi, despite his best efforts. It is important that his leg bears the mark that will determine his fate. Louis is continually reminded of his terrible fate by the number 4 on his foot. Louis completely rejects his fate and eliminates that number from his body. Legoshi then eats it. He is free now to live the life he wants.
Legoshi has confidence in his gut feelings
Legoshi is a trainer for Gohin all season. He puts him through some of the most difficult (and often horrific) activities. Legoshi is constantly exhausted from training and his mind is overloaded by the constant struggle against his natural nature, all while being surrounded with fleshy slabs. He becomes more like the herbivores when he can refrain from eating the meat. Legoshi also buries the flesh. He also remembers the Black Market herbivores he sold.

It is shocking to see Legoshi eat Louis’s leg after all the horrors he has endured in Season 2. However, it does not mean that he has lost his humanity. The scenario is Legoshi’s incredible strength and love for herbivores. This allows him to reach Louis, defeat Riz and end the murder of Tem. Soon he realizes that following his instincts doesn’t make him a bad person. It actually enhances his character. He eats only what he needs to be moral. He forms a stronger bond with herbivores, and is motivated to protect and uphold them.
Riz recognizes Tem’s true character in their relationship
“Beastars,” has not shied away from displaying the rules that the animalistic society imposes upon its carnivorous citizens. Season 1 shows this when carnivores can only eat synthetic meat. These regulations are further reviewed with the assistance of Riz (a character who is forced to take medication to suppress his baser tendencies). It works but Riz suffers from severe headaches.
When Riz meets Tem, he stops taking his medication. When Tem tells him what he did, the alpaca runs away. After becoming overwhelmed by his impulses, Riz follows him down and eats the alpaca.

As he tries to understand what he did, he goes to great lengths romanticizing the episode. He says that Tem gave his life and that they had the most wonderful bonding experience. Riz learns that Legoshi can be closer to Louis without the deer dying, and he realizes that Tem’s death was not an act of love. After admitting that, he has lost his romantic view of Tem. Riz’s actions are unaffected despite their love and friendship. He is now free to grieve his friend without trying to explain what happened. He regrets not thanking Tem for his contribution to Tem’s life.
What’s next for the Beastars

Given what happened in Season 2, viewers must be curious to see what happens in Season 3. The manga has moved beyond Season 2 (which means that readers are well-informed about the story’s future events), but it should not stop anime viewers guessing.
Legoshi may still have trouble suppressing his urges despite his training. However, he might find the strength to continue his adventure without eating meat. He can think back to Louis’s experience. This will help him when he’s struggling, especially when it is near Haru. As their relationship grows stronger, he may even be able to pursue a romantic relationship with her without hesitation.
Louis, who was tattooed on his foot, now has access to the whole world. He can return to school and apply for the Beastar rank again. He might be able, now that he’s not tied to Black Market, to think about his relationships. Louis can mature and live the life an adolescent should.
