K-On!: What is it about?
Hirasawa, a carefree, young girl, is captured by a poster advertising the Light Music Club. She quickly signed up, being the carefree girl she is. However, Yui is unable to play an instrument.
Yui is greeted by Ritsu, Mio and Tsumugi when she goes to the clubroom to tell them. Despite being disappointed by Yui’s inept musical skills, they try to persuade her to stay and prevent the club from dissolving. They manage to keep their new guitarist and member, Yui, after playing her a short piece that re-ignites her imagination.

10. Hibike! Euphonium
After swearing off music due to an incident at the middle school regional brass band competition, euphonist Kumiko Oumae enters high school hoping for a fresh start. As fate would have it, she ends up being surrounded by people with an interest in the high school brass band.
Kumiko finds the motivation she needs to make music once more with the help of her bandmates, some of whom are new like novice tubist Hazuki Katou; veteran contrabassist Sapphire Kawashima; and band vice president and fellow euphonist Asuka Tanaka. Others are old friends, like Kumiko’s childhood friend and hornist-turned-trombonist Shuuichi Tsukamoto, and trumpeter and bandmate from middle school, Reina Kousaka.

Otonokizaka High School is in a crisis! With the number of enrolling students dropping lower and lower every year, the school is set to shut down after its current first years graduate. Searching for a solution, she comes across popular school idol group A-RISE and sets out to create a school idol group of her own. With the help of her childhood friends Umi Sonoda and Kotori Minami, Honoka forms μ’s to boost awareness and popularity of her school.
It’s not an easy task. Eli Ayase, president of the student council, strongly opposes the creation of an idol school group and will do everything in her power to stop it. Honoka and her friends are having difficulty attracting additional members. The Love Live competition, which determines the most popular and beloved school idol groups in Japan can help them get the attention they need. Honoka must quickly act and work diligently in order to win the Love Live and bring together an idol group to save Otonokizaka High School.

After a year in grade school without her childhood friends, first year student Akari Akaza is finally reunited with second years Yui Funami and Kyouko Toshinou at their all-girls’ middle school. During the duo’s first year, Yui and Kyouko formed the “Amusement Club” which occupies the now nonexistent Tea Club’s room.
Shortly after Akari joins, one of her fellow classmates, Chinatsu Yoshikawa, pays the trio a visit under the impression that they are the Tea Club; it is only once the three girls explain that the Tea Club has been disbanded that they can convince Chinatsu to join the Amusement Club—a group with no purpose other than to provide entertainment for its members.
Yuru Yuru is a comedy based on Namori’s slice-of-life manga. It tells the story of a group of girls who enjoy drinking tea and flirting with each other while failing to notice Akari, the main character.

Tooru and Run have been best friends forever, so when Tooru learns that she’s managed to get into the same high school as Run, she runs to tell her… only to find Run in a compromising position with yet another girl, Yuko. In a lonely corner of the world, on the edge of No Man’s Land, sits Clocktower Fortress. It’s home to the 1121st Platoon of the Helvetian Army, and their newest member is a 15-year-old volunteer named Kanata Sorami, who enlisted to learn how to play the bugle. When she was a child, Kanata was saved by a beautiful soldier and found inspiration in the clear, golden sound of her trumpet.
From that day forward, Kanata decided music would be her life. As the other platoon members train her how to be a bugler and a soldier, Kanata’s enduring optimism will inspire them to look for happiness and beauty, even in a world haunted by war.

2. Non Non Biyori
When Hotaru Ichijo transfers from a school in Tokyo to the tiny little Asahigaoka Branch School in the rural countryside, she should be experiencing major culture shock. After all, there are only three other girls in the school, and none of them are even in the same grade as her.
But she quickly finds herself adjusting to spending her time with first grader Renge and the Koshigaya sisters, Natsumi and Komari, who are in the seventh and eighth grade, respectively. The Koshigaya’s older brother, the only male student, isn’t so hard to get along with either.
