Hime-chan no Ribbon is another classic title.

The story’s basic plot is that Nonohara Himeko is a tomboy who meets Erika of Magical World, a beautiful witch.

She gives Himeko a magic ribbon that allows Himeko temporarily to transform into any other person in the world.

Her motivation was to assist those in need. Himeko, as with all mortal items, has to deal with problems when she’s unable to solve others’ problems.

What is so great about this show? The show’s title may be misleading. It isn’t all about the ribbon on her head.

The animation is very sharp and shows the evolution from the 80’s to 90’s art style.

Although the series was not well received in overseas markets, it was a huge success in Japan.
