Reiss Family : Everything You Need To Know

Reiss Family Aot

The Reiss family was once known as the Fritz Family in ancient times. Charles Fritz was the 145th king of this Fritz family. He moved the capital to Paradis Island where he constructed three walls with the help of the Progenitor Titan. He had hundreds of 45-foot titans make armor and build three walls. Sina, Rose, and Maria were his three walls. This helped him achieve his goal of “eternal peace”.

King Reiss died shortly after passing on the power of the Progenitor Titan.

For the past 100 years, the Progenitor Titan was passed from one Reiss member to another. The current holder is then chained to two walls in a cave under the Reiss family estate. The Progenitor then injects the recipient with titanium serum. This gives him the ability to eat the current owner. He also receives the First King’s ideology. This forces them to follow the destruction of their race, even though he had previously sought to liberate his people.

Master Reiss was the father of Uri and Rod. He begged the brothers to kill the titans, but he refused. When it came time to transfer the power, Uri offered to do so and asked Rod for prayers. Uri, having inherited the power and ideology of the First King, also wanted to create a paradise for Wall people. This was after his failed attempt to kill him by Kenny Ackerman. He later became Uri’s bodyguard and best friend.

Frieda Reiss

After a while Rod got married and had five children: Frieda (Ulkin, Abel), Dirk, and Floriana. He also had an unmarried daughter, Historia, who was a mistress to Alma.

Alma gave birth to Historia at the Reiss farm.

Historia wasn’t as alone as she thought. Frieda, her half-sister, raised Historia and taught her how to write and read. However, Historia still recalled her memories while she was sleeping and forgot them when she awoke.

Frieda was 15 years old when she inherited power from her uncle Uri.

If the Marleyan government learned about Dina’s origins, they would force her to have children of royalty, who would then be included in the Warriors’ program. They could also be given the Coordinate to dominate the Mater.

Soon, Ymir teamed up with Reiner and Bertolt, to capture Historia and Eren Yeager, out of a desire for redemption to them. Historia was willing to go with them if it would help Ymir but Reiner, Bertolt and an Intelligence Corps teamed up with the suddenly awakened Eren Coordinate to defeat them. REBELLION

In 850, Levi, Hange Zoë and Jer Sanes interrogated Jer, a member of the Military Police Central Division. He told them that the Reiss Family is the true royal household of the Walls. This means that Historia could claim the Throne. Historia initially refused to be made queen. However, Levi persuaded her and she was convinced to agree. Historia was close to agreeing, but she soon realized that Frieda was being influenced by the Progenitor Titan, the First King’s embedded ideology, and her father’s desire to use her to create his power in the Walls. So she knocked Eren out of his hands, broke his ampule, and made her own. Rod then transformed from a 120-foot tall, unintelligent Titan. Historia delivered the final blow to Rod after the transformation.

Historia was crowned after the Battle of Orvud.
