Shazam vs Black Adam, their source of power is the same. They even played the same role during different periods in history. Yet, they are still rivals. Which of them is stronger? In a fight: Shazam vs Black Adam, who would win?

Both Shazam and Black Adam share the same abilities and powers, and both are equally powerful because their powers are virtually infinite. We believe that Black Adam is stronger, despite having infinitely more experience and thousands of years, but we disagree.

The remainder of the article will contain two introduction sections: one for Shazam (Captain Marvel), and one for Black Adam. Next, we will compare their abilities and power, before explaining which one is stronger. You will find many interesting facts in this article.

Comparison of the Powers of Shazam & Black Adam

The Wizard gave Shazam and Black Adam magical powers. They can be activated by saying “Shazam!” These powers, which are derived from mythological heroes’ powers, give Shazam and Black Adam diverse abilities. Their powers are said to have no limits.

Shazam and His Powers

Shazam’s powers are based on the letters in the phrase ( SHAZAM ):

S – Wisdom of Solomon

He has immediate access to vast amounts of scientific knowledge. He has exceptional mental acuity, near-infallible wisdom, and an innate understanding of almost all sciences and languages. His photographic memory and excellent recall allow him to retain complete information about everything he is seeing with great clarity.

He can then read and decipher any code and solve complex math equations immediately. Additionally, he can make intuitive guesses from limited data that are almost always right.

He has an excellent understanding of the divine phenomena of the mortal world. This ability, which is similar to clairvoyance, allows him to transform a disadvantage into a benefit and give advice when he needs it. This power has been described as allowing him to hypnotize people.

H – For the Strength of Hercules

Hercules’ superhuman strength is comparable to the legendary demigod and makes him one of the most powerful characters in DC Comics.

He can bend steel with his naked hands and do the work of many workers in a fraction of the time. His strength has been compared with that of Superman and other godlike characters.

Captain Marvel’s strength from the Golden Age was unmatched and the character could move stars and planets.

A – For the Stamina of Atlas

Atlas’s endurance ensures an almost limitless resilience. Atlas never feels tired or worn out and does not need rest or sleep. He is durable enough to withstand any type of extreme physical attack without sustaining too much or any damage. His physical injuries will be quickly treated and heal without any discomfort.

He has a miraculously enhanced metabolism, which is well beyond what the average human can do. He doesn’t need food or air but can still partake in it for pleasure. And he can survive in space with no assistance.

Billy’s empowered body ages slowly thanks to the magic energies that flow through it. He can live with his empowered form for thousands of years. However, his normal self will still age.

Z – For the Power of Zeus

Zeus’ power powers the magical lightning that transforms Captain Marvel/Shazam. It also greatly enhances Captain Marvel/Shazam’s other mental and physical abilities, including his five senses. This gives him resistance to magical spells and attacks. By dodging, the hero can use lightning to strike an enemy or another target.

There are many uses for the magical flash. These include: creating contraptions, restoring damage to the hero, and fueling spells. He can travel to the Rock of Eternity and thus enable interdimensional time and space travel.

The current continuity Shazam version can absorb lightning and generate electricity, as well as conjure or generate lightning. It can also control other purposes such as: B. To shoot energy flashes and create electric force fields.

A – For the Courage of Achilles

This is a psychological and spiritual aspect. Achilles’ courage gives the mythical Greek hero the mental strength to overcome any odds.

He is always supported by a positive spirit of goodwill and unwavering courage. Even in the face of the most formidable adversary, he does not back down from a challenge. It can also give him combat skills, according to some stories.

Black Adam and His Powers

Black Adam’s situation is slightly different. He had previously experienced a change in his abilities and powers, which led to him having two power sets rather than one. While the original version of the phrase had the letters representing Ancient Egyptian deities, the new versions are closer to Shazam’s. These are the two versions:

Black Adam can travel at sublight speeds in orbit by channeling Horus’ supernatural speed. Black Adam is able to fly in space at trans-light speeds, while on Earth, he can only reach Mach 500. His speed was transferred to the Golden Age Flash, and he was able to achieve amazing speeds with it.

A – For the strength of Amon

Black Adam is a superhuman with incredible superpower. He can bend steel, punch through walls, and create powerful shock waves by clapping his hands. He can also lift huge objects.

Adam’s strength is usually represented as being equal to Captain Marvel and Superman, though some writers have depicted him as having a strength that may be greater than these.

He was capable of standing up at least once to a group of Justice League, Justice Society, and Great Ten, Martian Manhunter (whose strength is comparable to that of Superman), as well as the Teen Titans.

Z – For the wisdom of Zehuti

Black Adam has immediate access to vast amounts of academic knowledge that allows him to learn multiple languages. Zehuti’s wisdom also gives Black Adam advice and counsel in times of crisis.

Adam can use lightning to his advantage by dodging and hitting an enemy or target. He can travel to the Rock of Eternity and thus enable interdimensional time and space travel.

M – For the courage of Mehen

This is a primarily spiritual and psychological aspect. Mehen’s courage provides Black Adam with extraordinary inner strength, willpower, and discipline.

He is always supported by a harmonious presence and unwavering courage. Even in the face of the most formidable adversary, he doesn’t feel any fear or despair. He is able to resist mind control and telepathy thanks to his mental strength.

Some depictions of Mehen’s courage include a measure of his invulnerability to harm.

The second:

S – Wisdom of Solomon

Teth is known as Black Adam and has immediate access to scientific knowledge in all languages and sciences. His extraordinary photographic memory and mental acuity allow him to decipher hieroglyphics and remember all he has learned. He can also solve complex math equations.

He is also a master of the divine phenomena that exist in the mortal realm.

H – For the Strength of Hercules

Hercules’ power gives Teth/Black Adam incredible superhuman strength. This makes him one of DC Comics’ strongest characters. He can bend steel and punch through walls. His strength is compared to that of a demigod in the 52 comics.

A – For the Stamina of Atlas

Black Adam is able to withstand most extreme physical assaults and recover from them thanks to Atlas’ stamina. Some stories claim that the stamina of Atlas renders Teth/Black Adam almost invulnerable. Atlas’ stamina also keeps him from becoming tired.

Z – For the Power of Zeus

Zeus’ power powers the magical lightning that transforms Black Adam. It also improves Adam’s mental and physical abilities. He also grants Adam resistance to magical spells. By dodging, the hero can use lightning to strike an enemy or another target.

The magic flash can be used for many purposes, including creating contraptions and restoring damage to the hero. It also provides fuel for spells. Current Continuity Teth-Adam version can generate and control lightning for different purposes.

It is also easy to use from his fingertips. Zeus’s power also enhances Adam’s other powers.

A – For the Courage of Achilles

This attribute gives Teth-Adam/Black Adam all the courage and bravery that Achilles has. This aspect also helps the hero to remain mentally strong against all mental attacks.

M – For the Speed of Mercury

Black Adam is able to channel Mercury’s speed and fly at superhuman speeds, making him fly faster than the speed of light.

Shazam vs Black Adam : Which Would Win?

As you can see, Black Adam and Shazam have the same powers. Black Adam initially had his powers from a different source, but newer versions of the characters have the same powers. This could lead one to assume that they are identical and there is no winner. But there is a catch.

Black Adam, for example, has been able to use his powers for thousands upon thousands of years. Shazam is still relatively new to all of this. Black Adam was able to spend more time exploring his powers, and the source is almost unlimited. This allowed him to discover many of the things Shazam is yet to uncover.

This is likely what makes Black Adam so dangerous. Just remember that it took a combined effort from Superman and Shazam to defeat Black Adam in the fight. Black Adam was manipulating each of them individually.

Black Adam is not like Shazam in that he is willing to kill. Black Adam is unrestrained and infinitely more deadly than Shazam, who after all is a superhero. He is capable of killing anyone with one blow, and his rage is frightening.

He is much more dangerous than Shazam in this aspect. Despite him losing most of the time – because heroes must save the day – we believe that Black Adam is objectively (still) considerably stronger than Shazam.
