Cory and Paul later return to Zoble. He would be back to his former self, the demons made sure. The demons also kidnapped and tortured Paula, just like Ysley. Prontea quickly learns the truth. Rin is seen looking desperately for Paula, but has no idea where she is.

Season 2 will see Ysley’s and Paula’s friends work together to find their tortured friend. The group isn’t in the best of health and their chances to make it are low. Rin might find out how Oobami remembered his grandfather’s memory. The Idaten would likely wage a fierce battle against Rin and his friends, with their friends trapped. It remains to be seen if Rin is able to save Paula and Ysley. It seems unlikely, however, given his circumstances.
