It began as a webcomic in 2019 and was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker in January 2020.

As of February 2022, five volumes of the series have been published in tankobon. In July 2022, an anime television adaptation by Silver Link and Blade premiered.

Synopsis of The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious

The anime centers on a boy named Yuuri who lives in a mansion with his parents. His parents are killed at an early age. Financial problems forced all the servants to leave the house. Yuuri was left alone and no one was available to take care of him.

Yuuri is suddenly greeted by a maid. Lilith is her name and she offers to do the job for Yuuri. Yuuri is a little uncomfortable, but he accepts her offer. Yuuri hires Lilith to help him.

Yuuri suspects that Lilith would be willing to work for just one boy at no cost. He believes Lilith is part of a larger plan to kill him and take over his mansion.

Yuuri is always vigilant about Lilith’s activities throughout the day. Yuuri is also more cautious as Lilith knows exactly what he wants, and Yuuri has nothing to mention. Yuuri becomes confused and cannot accept the sudden love and care shown by Lilith.

Personality

Yuuri is an intelligent and curious child. He is a curious child who second-guesses everything. Even Lilith, his newly hired maid. He is too honest about his feelings, which makes Lilith feel embarrassed or blush.

Yuuri discovers that Lilith is very good at cooking, making him suspicious and wondering if she has any drugs. Lilith claims that she created a love potion for Yuuri to make her fall in love. Surprisingly, he claims it’s why he couldn’t sleep and think about Yuuri. The end makes Lilith blush.

Yuuri is surprised to discover that Lilith has horns when Lilith brings Yuuri her breakfast. He suspects her to be a demon. He is teased by Lilith, who claims she is a demon and was misbehaving while he was studying.

He believes that she works magic to accomplish this feat. He began to claim that she was a witch. He then began to tease Lilith, claiming that she was a “witch”. Lilith says that her eyes are powerful enough to seduce him.
