Ainz Ooal Gown, previously known as Momonga, is the Overlord’s main protagonist. Ainz Ooal Gown was a human called Satoru Suzuki. He was a Player of YGGDRASIL and a heteromorphic race. He was also the leader of the Guild of Ainz Ooal Gown. The people of Nazarick consider him the greatest of 41 Supreme Beings, the undisputed master and Overlord for the Great Tomb at Nazarick. He is also Pandora’s Actor, the creator of the NPC.

Satoru Suzuki has assumed a second identity since his arrival in the New World. He is a disguised adventurer known as “Momon”, and the leader of the new group. They have rapidly reached Adamantite rank, which they call “Darkness” after their new colleagues. He quickly rose to prominence as E-Rantel’s most well-known and strongest adventurer.

PERSONALITY & APPEARANCE Ainz Ooal Gown

Ainz is a skeletal undead without skin or flesh, and has the appearance of an Overlord. Ainz prefers to wear a black academic robe with purple trim and gold accents. His entire body is composed of bones when he doesn’t have clothes. A dark red orb hovers under his ribs. This gives him a feeling of fear. He doesn’t have eyes. There is a tiny, dark red glow that shines inside his sockets. Ainz is a very cautious person. He always plans his actions ahead and controls every detail to avoid any risks that could threaten Nazarick’s existence.

He now lives in the New World in the form of his in-game avatar (YGGDRASIL) after his transfer. Since he has become an undead creature, his emotions are limited. He can be extremely cold and even cruel to other beings.

Ainz, a Guild Master, loves to recall the wise words of his past companions. These words can have a deeper meaning now in the New World, which is also fully accepted by the NPCs. He is loyal to his friends as well as the NPCs he has created. He strives to be a worthy ruler with a degree of nobility and properly lead his followers who regard him as a god. Ainz Ooal Gown is the Supreme Being they can swear their loyalty to, and the reason why NPCs love him so much is that he has never left them.

He dons full-black armor with gold trim when he assumes the identity of an adventurer Momon. A red cape is also on his head, mostly in honor of Touch Me, his guide. Two large swords serve as his weapons.

He is portrayed as Momon the Adventurer by his friends. They see him as a strong, dignified adamantite, equally rational, logical, and humble. Ainz is a loyal, honorable adventurer. He is confident in his coworkers, but he will refuse any outside assistance if they slow him down. He also takes the time to greet the young adventurers from the kingdom of Re-Estize.

10 Undead & Elemental Summoning

Summoning undead is one of Ainz Ooal Gown’s main abilities. He is also a necromancer, which is why he has a skeletal appearance. Ainz’s ability to summon the undead makes it a dangerous combat ability. Ainz Ooal Gown can summon hundreds upon thousands of undead to fight for him – this ability was demonstrated during his fight (or subdual) with the Lizard tribe.

Ainz’s undead summoning can be extremely helpful in large-scale battles, but his Summoning elementals is far more potent. Ainz can summon more than ten Elementals in the 80-level range, increasing his offensive capabilities. The series features powerful summons such as Jack the Ripper and Elder Litch Iguva, which decimate any opposition to Ainz Ooal Gown.

9 Grasp Heart

Grasp Heart is another strong ability in Ainz Ooal Gown’s arsenal. Although this skill is 9th-Tier, it is still a powerful combat ability. Grasp Heart can be used on one person per attack, but it’s still very deadly. Ainz first used it against the soldiers who attacked Carne Village.

Grasp Heart summons the opponent’s heart into Ainz’s hand. He crushes the Summoning target after it has been completed. This ability is instant kill unless the target has multiple hearts, such as the Demon Clan in 7 Deadly Sins. But that doesn’t make it useless against multi-hearted enemies. Ainz can summon at most one heart.

8 True Deaths

The 9th-Tier spell True Death can spell doom for all who use it. This ability was the main highlight of the battle between Gazef and Ainz Ooal Gown. This ability allows Ainz to unleash a destructive wave of energy upon his opponent and eliminate them with a powerful curse.

True Death is different from normal death in that it negates all basic resurrection skills on its target. The spell is so powerful, it can even surpass the death of the average person. True Death victims can be revived by Ainz, but only through regular resurrection skills.

7 Reality Slash

Any ability that alters reality is deadly, as it can wipe out whatever the user chooses. One such deadly ability is held by Ainz Ooal Gown. Reality Slash, a spell of 10th rank with high-level damage, is too draining. Its effect is worth it regardless.

Reality Slash can be described as a weaker form of “World Break.” It can cut through space and sever any magical defenses. It is difficult to escape this ability. Her Valkyrie armor couldn’t fend off Shaltear’s attack during Ainz’s fight with them; it caused major damage.

6 Resurrection

Ainz Ooal Gown is known as the “harbinger of death”, due to his many instant-killing abilities. He is also capable of attracting death and possesses the ability to resurrect people. Ainz has two ways to resurrect someone. The first method is to use the coins from his treasury. To resurrect Shaltear, Ainz used approximately 500 million gold. This type of resurrection is guaranteed. It also removes any status issues that the deceased person may have at the time of their death and restores them to their best self.

Ainz’s second resurrection method is via his item, the True Death Wand. This was used to resurrect members of the Lizard Tribe. Ainz is able to resurrect himself. This makes his existence almost impossible to eradicate.

5-Time Stop

Only a few characters can control time in anime. Star Platinum’s Kujo Jotaro can stop time for just a few seconds with his Stand from Jojo Bizarre Adventures. While the Stand’s power is evident, Ainz’s skill at time manipulation transcends many other time-manipulating abilities.

Time Stop a 10th-Tier spell which freezes time for a short period of time, where Ainz can move freely. Ainz used it to defeat Re Estize Kingdom’s strongest swordsman. This allowed Gazef Strong to show viewers his godlike power. Ainz was initially able to use this ability for just a few seconds. But now, he is able to stop time indefinitely.

4 Fallen Down

Ainz Ooal Gown’s Fallen Down magic spell is Super-Tier. It is higher than 10th Tier magic. Ainz uses Fallen Down to create a large pillar of light that generates an extreme brightness, which causes the surrounding area to be tinged with bluish-white.

Any living creature or creature within the spell’s range will be exterminated once it takes effect. This spell can be used against undead and other opponents. Fallen Down significantly weakened Ainz during her fight with Shaltear. Ainz used the spell to kill her.

3 Death Is The End Goal Of All Life

The Goal of All Life is Death is listed as Ainz’s special skills. It is one of his most powerful abilities, and it is Eclipse. True to its name, the Goal Of All Life Is Death certifies that individuals die within a specific area. It is a ticking clock that takes time to activate. However, all people within its target area will die once the countdown has ended.

This skill is so powerful because it ignores immunity. Shaltear was killed by the ability, despite her strong counter skills. However, she survived due to an ingrained resurrection skill. Although The Goal Of All Life Is Death should be higher, it has one drawback: Ainz cannot use it multiple times, as the ability has 100 hours of cooling down time.

2 Wish Upon A Star

Wish Upon A Star is another Super Tier Magic spell Ainz uses. Wish Upon A Star is similar to the genie-based concept where they grant three wishes to a person. However, Wish Upon A Star allows the user to exchange three wishes for their experience points. It’s not a fairytale-lined ability, but a skill.

This ability is usually associated with a World Class Item. However, Ainz commented that he understood the concept. It’s likely that it is also one of his abilities, judging by his comments. Ainz tried to use this skill to end Shaltear’s brainwashing, but it didn’t work as she was controlled by a World-Class object. However, this ability can still be very powerful even if World-Class items don’t exist.

1 Tribute to the God of Dark Fertility: Ia Schub Nigguruth

Ia Shub Nigguruth is one of Ainz’s most powerful offensive attacks. It is a Super Tier magic spell. This means that it has a greater destructive power than 10th-Tier Magic. This ability’s range is the most dangerous part. It affects everyone within its range equally. Ainz can create Baby Goats by using this ability.

The Baby Goats’ core ingredients are human sacrifices. 5 Baby Goats are equal to approximately 70,000 people. Ia Shub Nigguruth was a key figure in Ainz’s battle with the Re Estize kingdom, when he defeated over 200,000 soldiers in a very short time. Baby Goats can be difficult to spot even with the most perceptive of senses. Their incredible speed makes them extremely powerful.
