Naruto took its time to reveal the truth about Itachi Uchiha’s massacre of his clan. This is how it happened.
Itachi: Who are you?
Itachi is the first person fans need to know before they can comprehend the Uchihas’ murder. He, the Uchiha clan leader’s firstborn, was a powerful ninja and many considered him the greatest of his generation. However, he was exposed to many atrocities as a youngster.
Itachi was traumatized by the war and decided to be a pacifist. He set out to become the greatest ninja possible and hope to one day eliminate all conflict and fighting from the world. Itachi and he became the Anbu Captain at the age of 11. Itachi, his elder brother, decided to kill his entire clan two years later.
The plot of the Uchiha
Due to dissatisfaction at their treatment, the Uchiha clan planned a coup. Fugaku, the head of Uchiha, supported Itachi’s rise to the Anbu’s ranks in order to spy on the village. Konohagakure’s founding family, the Uchiha were among them. They founded the first Shinobi hamlet in the world during feudal times.
Similar to their example, other clans or fiefdoms followed them. This brought the world from the “Warring States”, a small-scale conflict, to the global superpowers that were Naruto’s beginning. The two clans came together to end the slaughter and discover Konoha. The bitterness that remained between these two great families has not completely subsided.
The village inspection has been inspected by Senju family members, who have appointed their friends and clansmen to the positions. However, the Uchiha clan was often overlooked when it came to distributing responsibilities within the village administration. The Uchiha clan refused to help defend the town from a large beasty. They became distrustful of other village and clan residents.
The clan was also gradually removed from Konoha’s political concerns. As they returned to their village, the clan chiefs raged and boiled their tempers. The clan’s head Fugaku Uchiha decided that he would try to shake up the situation by staging a coup against village authority. The village elders received word and the clan’s youngest member was forced to make a difficult decision. His choice was either to kill his clan members for Konoha’s sake or to perish with his clan’s men.
What were the Events That Lead To Itachi Killing Uchihas
Many were suspicious of Uchiha clan since the founding of Hidden Leaf Village. Fear and mistrust continued to be engendered by Madara Uchiha’s rebellion against the Konoha Village. People’s fear of the Uchiha clan was further exacerbated by the attack by the nine-tailed Fox, which made village advisors more wary.
Fears mounting, the village leader decided that the Uchiha clan should be restricted to the village’s outskirts. The Uchihas were furious at this exclusion. Itachi’s clan leader father entered his son into Anbu blackops. He began spying on the village, and other clans, in an attempt to pull off a coup. Itachi, however, is already a spy on the village advisor Danzo. Itachi believed that Heachi was helping to bring peace by virtue of his double-agent status. Danzo believed that the Uchihas could incite another war if they were not controlled.
Itachi told Danzo about his family’s plans for a coup, and Danzo convinced Itachi that it could not be stopped without bloodshed. Itachi became confused about who he could trust after Shisui was robbed. Danzo used Itachi’s trauma, naivete and fear to get him to kill the Uchiha clan.
He Uchiha murdered his clan at the command of Danzo. Itachi was told by him of a coup planned by the Uchiha which would lead to a civil war against Leaf Village. Danzo suggested that Itachi kill his clan in order to defend the village. He also shifted the blame onto Itachi so Sasuke didn’t hate the Uchiha for the destruction.
The Uchiha clan was planning to take over the village’s founding clans. Danzo used this opportunity to persuade Itachi to kill his clan with Sasuke as a reward. Itachi realized that the Uchiha clan would be massacred if they engaged in civil war. He accepted the deal to exterminate his clan as soon as possible, provided Sasuke was not hurt.
Why did Itachi not kill Sasuke
Itachi didn’t kill Sasuke, because he loved him too. Danzo let Sasuke escape the Uchiha massacre, as long as Itachi was not involved in the plot. Itachi’s agreement to allow Sasuke to live was a way of portraying himself as a completely rebellious ninja who obeys no orders.
Who ordered Itachi to kill The Uchiha
Danzo ordered Itachi to kill the Uchiha clan. Itachi was initially told by Danzo that his clan would try to overthrow village government. This must be stopped. Later, it was revealed that Danzo was more concerned with acquiring the power of Sharingan than protecting Konoha.
Itachi’s Clan Was Killed at What Age?
Itachi was only 13 years old at the time he killed his clan. Although it seems young, he was already an Anbu Black Ops member at the age of 11 and a Chunin at 10.
What if Itachi didn’t kill his Clan?
The Uchiha would have tried to overthrow the founding clans if Itachi hadn’t killed his clan. The Uchihas were subordinated to the village’s police force. This was a relatively small operation compared to other clan responsibilities. Itachi was used by Danzo to get sharingans. However, it is true that there was a rebellion.
Who killed Itachi’s girlfriend?
Itachi murdered his girlfriend. She was among the first to be killed in the Uchiha clan massacre. Itachi used his Tsukuyomi to attack her, simulating their entire lives together before she died.
Itachi murdered his clan as he believed they would overthrow the village. Danzo made a deal to save Sasuke, provided Itachi makes it appear that he was simply going rogue in order to test his power.
Itachi killed the Uchiha Clan.
Because the Uchiha was unhappy with their treatment, they plotted a coup. Fugaku, who was the chief of the Uchiha as well as the primary conspirator for the coup, supported Itachi’s rise to the Anbu’s ranks and used it to spy on the village.
Konohagakure was founded by the Uchiha family. They founded, together with Senju clan foes, the first Shinobi hamlet in the world during the feudal period of the Naruto universe.
Others followed their example, bringing the world from the small-scale conflict in the “Warring States” period into the global superpowers that were Naruto’s beginning.
They were able to come to an agreement to stop the slaughter, but the bitterness that remained between these two great families was not completely forgotten.
It was a matter of great regret that the Uchiha clan was frequently overlooked when it came to distributing responsibilities in the village administration. Since the inception of the village, Senju family members held power and appointed their clansmen and friends.
The Uchiha refused help in the defense the town against the huge beast and other clans and village dwellers became increasingly suspicious of them. Slowly, the clan was removed from Konoha’s political concerns and they retired to their village part, where tempers flared and clan chiefs stewed with their own fury.
Fugaku Uchiha, the clan head, planned to shake up things by staging an attack on the village’s authorities. The village elders were informed and the clan’s youngest member, Fugaku Uchiha, was forced to make a decision: Kill his clan for Konoha or perish with them.
Itachi understood, however, that an Uchiha coup would lead to involvement from other villages and a new World War. This he couldn’t accept. He became a double agent and informed the Third Hokage as well as the Konoha Council of the Uchiha’s actions in the hope of facilitating peaceful settlement.
Itachi and Shisui shared the responsibility of betraying their clan. As time went by, however, it became clear that peace was not possible. Shisui had planned to use his Kotoamatsukami against the Uchiha commanders in order to make them compromise. But Danz lost his right eye.
Itachi was accused of murdering Shisui by several Uchihas. He was also accused of faking suicide the next day.
Itachi and his family had split up and Hiruzen’s warnings to them to rethink their actions failed to hear. He was promoted to Anbu Captain by Danz at the age 12 and Hiruzen accepted his request. His publicly reported promotion age was 13 years.
Despite the desire of the Third Hokage to engage with Uchiha, Danz Schimura realized that Uchiha’s existence was not possible.
Itachi was informed by him about the situation and offered him two options. He could either support the Uchiha’s revolution, have all the clan members killed in the following war, or accept the mission of destroying the clan before the coup, and save Sasuke. Itachi went along with his brother.
Itachi Uchiha agreed to the execution of the slaughter under certain conditions. Danzo Shimura used Itachi’s protective nature to make the agreement sweeter.
What did Itachi do for his Clan?
Itachi was an Uchiha Anbu spy and discovered his clan’s plans for a coup. This would weaken the village and expose it to external dangers like other ambitious villages that might take the chance. Itachi was then told by Danzo that he could save his entire tribe or perish with his kin if he killed them all.
Itachi is here that he established himself as one the most insane and crazy characters in Naruto and anime. Let’s look at the Uchiha clan more closely to understand why Itachi was a murderous madman and a failure. The Uchihas were hated and feared by the community. They were pushed to outsiders, looked down upon, and their leader was treated as garbage like all the others.
Fugaku, the Uchiha leader, grows tired of the treatment his clan is getting by the town. He vows to stop it and ensure that the Uchihas don’t feel oppressed or looked down on in the future. Shisui Uchiha was to mind-control Fukasku, the leader of their clan. However, Danzo took one eye and Shisui didn’t want people to know. Shisui left a note stating that he had ruined his eyes and no one will pursue him.
Danzo gave Itachi another assignment: to kill Uchiha, in return for Sasuke’s younger brother.
Why did Itachi kill his parents?
Itachi decided to kill his parents. They were not hostile to him despite his treachery and instead assured him that they were proud.
Itachi was so upset about his actions that he viewed Sasuke the only person capable of punishing him. He made Sasuke feel guilty by making him the villain and letting him see him stand over the deaths of his parents. Tsukuyomi then used visions of their murders to torture him.
Itachi’s parents were like all other parents. They valued their child’s life more than their own. They knew Itachi was determined to kill the Uchiha to stop the coup.
Fugaku’s comments summed it all perfectly. “Though we may disagree on certain issues, I am proud to be a part of your family, Itachi.” He instructed Itachi to take care of Sasuke before he died. This is a sign of how much he loved his children.
Itachi was even aware of his anguish and he supported him by saying, “You are truly a wonderful man, Itachi.” Our suffering will end in an instant, in comparison to yours.
They decided to accept his burden and help him because they loved him.
Itachi’s parents may have let him kill his parents because of some Japanese traditions, and the fact that there was no family to return to at that time.
Before Itachi killed his parents, everyone else had been murdered. Fugaku might suspect that his entire clan was killed, imprisoned or taken at that moment, but he also knows the Leaf Village has destroyed their plot and that the clan is doomed.
He was not the right commander for Uchiha. It is impossible for anyone to lead. Itachi is not with him. He is the leader of the clan and bears the greatest responsibility in the clan’s downfall.
It was not unusual for disgraced leaders to commit suicide in ancient Japan before World War II. Itachi actually spared his parents the shame and dishonor of losing their honor at the hands of a foe by killing them. His parents seemed unconcerned about his treachery, perhaps because they were at ease.

Itachi was someone who wanted to keep the village peaceful. He tried to find a balance between the Uchihas and the village at all times. He tried his best, but eventually he realized that Danzo was like the Uchihas and that they were two sides of one coin. Therefore, he killed the clan to preserve village peace.
He was about to execute Miko Uchiha and Fugaku, but he was sobbed.
Itachi was a person who wanted the greater number of people to be benefited. He used nonviolent tactics to persuade minorities to change their views, such as the Uchiha clan. He did the best for Leaf Village, and he never regretted any of his actions so long as they were in the best interests of the community.
Itachi was passionate about the preservation of Konoha. He devoted himself to Konoha more than his tribe. He also found his clan to be highly contradictory as they didn’t share Itachi’s vision for Konoha’s destiny.
