Oda’s Inspiration

Oda's Inspiration

On July 22, 1997, the first chapter of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga came out. Since then, the manga has been published regularly and reached its 25th anniversary in 2022. There are many manga that have been published over 25 years. One Piece is one of the longest-lasting manga series. In narrative terms, the reason is Eiichiro Oda’s inspiration. He has been writing his story for nearly 25 years and, although he stated three years ago that it was about 80% complete, he continues to publish new chapters, with new adventures and new realms.

It took Oda 21 years to complete 80% of the story. This means that he is writing 3.8% per year, which means that the anime will likely reach the 30-year mark in at least five more years. Oda recently stated that the manga is close to its end, and that he plans to finish it in 2025-2026. This is consistent with our calculations. This still leaves Oda and his characters ample time to develop and finish their stories.

One Piece’s best feature is that Oda, from what we know, has the entire concept in his head. He has an end point that he wants to reach. So far, all the adventures have been fantastic, even those in countries where manga isn’t the main comic book format. (See below).
The Wano Country arc now is the ongoing arc in both manga and anime.

Oda's Inspiration

Oda, as far as we know, has at least one or more arcs prior to the epic final arc. This will hopefully see Luffy discover the One Piece treasure and become a great pirate. This is a testament to how dedicated and inspired he is as an author. One Piece is a masterpiece. You can clearly see the passion and emotion that went into it. Oda’s passion and dedication are a source of inspiration for anyone with a great story. It is also one reason why the series has been so long. Oda can produce great, high-quality content and maintain a consistent level of quality. This is what makes this series so wonderful.

Why is One Piece Fighting So Long?

It is a common problem in manga and anime, but it is not yours. We can see why people are annoyed by fights that can be both on the screen and in manga.

There is no one answer. It all depends on the author’s wishes and the production speed. The latter will often extend some scenes to ensure that the anime doesn’t look too much like the manga.
