When is Yuru Camp Season 3 Release Date ?
Laid Back Camp (Yuru Camp, also called Yurukyan in Japanese) is a slice-of-life anime television series that is based on a manga with the same name. The manga was written and drawn by Afro, and first appeared on May 23, 2015. In 2018, studio C-Station adapted the manga into an anime. The first season, consisting of 12 episodes, was telecast in Japan beginning on January 4, 2018, until March 28, 2018. After the great popularity of the first season, the studio announced the second season. The second season aired from January 7, 2021, until April 1, 2021. According to Crunchyroll, Laid Back has been included in the “Top 100 best anime of the 2010s”. Just a few months after the second season concluded, viewers are already anticipating the next season. The fans are anxious to find out whether their favorite class of campers is going to be arriving once more. This is everything you need to be aware of regarding the Laid Back or Yuru Camp Season 3 release date.
Are there plans for Laid Camp Season 3?
Just a few months have passed since season two ended, and there hasn’t been any official announcement from the creators concerning a third season. Fans need not be concerned, as anime shows often have a long time between seasons. Laid Back’s first season and its second season premiered with a huge time gap.
The first season debuted in January of 2018, then a spinoff named “ROOM CAMP” released in 2020. Season 2 premiered in January 2021, a little over 3 years following the premiere season.
With the huge popularity of the show, there is no reason to believe that the creators would decide to end the series. Thus, the fans need to patiently wait for an announcement and hope for the best.
What will be the Laid Back Season 3 release date?
It’s not easy to know when the show will release its third season, as the studio hasn’t renewed its contract. But, if we look at the release schedule of the previous two seasons, we can anticipate Laid Back Season 3 to start in January 2024.
But, fans needn’t be worried because “Laid Back Camp” has more to offer the fans. The “Laid Back Camp” anime film that was announced in 2018 is set to be released in Japan in the summer of 2022.
Yumiri Hanamori, Nao Toyama, Sayuri Hara, Aki Toyosaki, as well as Rie Takahashi will reprise their voices from the anime, with their characters expected to become mature in the film.
Laid Back Camp (Yuru Camp) Plot
Yuru Camp isn’t one of the animes with an engaging story. As a slice-of-life anime series, it has an easy and simple storyline. The show tells the story that takes place between two outdoorsy youngsters, Rin Shima and Nadeshiko Kagamihara, and their companions while they visit various camping spots across the nation.
Rin is a simple and unassuming girl. Contrary to the other girls of her age, Rin likes to spend her leisure time camping alone at the foot of the stunning Mount Fuji.
In one of these camping sessions, she met a fellow girl named Nadeshiko who is lost. Similar to Rin, Nadeshiko is heading towards Mount Fuji but fell asleep in the process. Nadeshiko is lost from her sister. Unknown and lost, all Nadeshiko could do is to find her way back home and be hopeful of reuniting with her sister.
This moment is the start of a warm and touching tale about friendship and love between two women. Yuru Camp is an enjoyable anime series you’ll want to watch.

Yuru Camp film’s release date is still to be determined
The Laid Back Camp movie was announced a few years ago, however, as of yet no further details were released.
A special event for Laid-Back Camp which will take place in Tokyo’s Yomiuri Hall will be held on April 11, 2021. The voice actresses of the four main voices will perform.
The event is an official title and it’s possible that more details about the movie will be revealed at the moment.
If Season 2 adapts only four manga volumes, it is possible that the Yuru Camp movie could be an adaptation of Volume 9.
It’s likely that the Yuru Camp movie’s story will be an original tale written by Afro.
Yuru Camp manga is compared to the Yurukyan anime
The anime series is inspired by the Yuru Camp manga series (which is sometimes referred to by the name of Yurukyan) by the creator Afro. It has been published within Manga Time Kirara Forward since July 15, 2015; manga chapters are released every month. In 2019, the manga was moved to the brand new website and app Comic Fuz.
As of January 10, 2020, it was reported that the Laid Back Camp manga series was at Volume 9. The date of release for Yuru Camp Volume 10 has not yet been confirmed. However, historically, one or two volumes have been released each year.
The official English translation from Yen Press is not too much behind the Japanese publication. Laid Back Camp Volume 8 will be available with a printed book on the 17th, 2020. However, the electronic version is available from Amazon, Book Walker, Google Play, etc. The manga cover art for Yuru Camp Volume 9. Pic credit: Afro
This first anime season was adapted to the manga without filler material or skipping important details. Episode 12 concluded in Volume 4, but the anime hints at events to come in Yuru Camp Season 2.
Rin’s grandfather was not featured in the manga prior to Volume 5, however, in the anime series, he appeared in episode 6. The anime didn’t explicitly refer to the character’s name, but in the final credits, it identified that the actor who voiced Rin was his father, so we know that it was him.
The story that is told in The Laid Back Camp Season 2 anime should continue to follow the events of Volume 5. If the same pace is kept, the next season could be 13 or 12 episodes, and conclude in the middle of Volume 8.
It could be another few years before mangaka Afro creates enough chapters for Yuru Camp Season 3 (Laid Back Camp Season 3).
Yuru Camp S2 spoilers (plot summary/synopsis)
With New Year on everyone’s minds, the girls from the Outdoor Exploration Club are trying to figure out whether to enjoy their first sunrise of the year at the beach or in the vicinity of Mount Fuji. No matter what they decide, it’s an excellent incentive to go camping. However, Rin’s plans will be tested when they’re hit with an extreme snowstorm!
The winter tests are only starting with their next visit to Lake Yamanaka. Inuko, Aki, and Ena might have had some camping experiences, however, they might be underestimating how cold it is during the winter.
This storyline centers on Nadeshiko, who has become attracted to camping alone based on Rin praising its virtues. However, Rin as well as Nadeshiko’s sibling, Sakura, are worried about the possibility that Nadeshiko isn’t able to handle the demands of camping in the outdoors by herself.
Then, fast forward to the end of term exams and Nadeshiko chooses to go camping with the other girl group in Izu. However, their journey is delayed by a small “guest” appearance.
