Vinsmoke Judge, the patriarch of the Vinsmoke 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family, is Germa’s supreme commander and ruler of Germa 66.

Appearance

Judge is tall and burly with long, dark hair. His mustache points up, his beard is short, and he has a prominent dimple at his chin. He wears a gray shape-memory combat suit with a white bottom and an orange cape. He also has a dark gray belt and a tan buckle. The Gold 66 orange buckle is accompanied by white gloves, black boots, rear thrusters, and an orange helmet.

Eleven years ago, he wore a similar suit, but with blue sleeves.

Character

Judge has a deep respect for strength and all the privileges that it brings. He is proud of Yonji’s strength. He believes that men cannot communicate with each other through violence. This belief has also influenced his sons. He appreciates his sons only when they are strong, and that is exactly why he refused to intervene in the beating of Sanji by his brothers. He is strict and ruthless to the point that he deemed Sanji unworthy of being part of the Vinsmoke family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 based on his actions as a child, even after his son has improved greatly as he has grown up. His desire to see his scientific achievements become a reality is what fuels these expectations.

He possesses a lust for 💥 power, as he wishes to take back the northern sea that once belonged to his ancestors. He is willing to sacrifice his privileges to get it back from the World Government. He has demonstrated that he is not afraid to use all means to reach his goals, including unfair advantages against opponents made up of the human shields of subordinates. Judge believes that royalty was born to serve, not to be served. He disowns this regal attitude. Sanji was inspired to become his son by his disgusting habit of cooking for other people. Judge sees such activities as serving others. This is not royal behavior. He has also never stopped bullying Sanji.

Judge has displayed great cruelty to inflict punishment on Sanji. He kept him locked up in the castle’s dark cell as a child, with an iron mask covering his face. He even threatened to kill Sanji’s loved ones to force him to perform his duties, putting explosive bracelets on him. This was the only reason he sought him out and protected him from his brothers when they returned to Germa.

Despite his cruelty, Judge stated that he would never be able to kill one of his 👶 children with his own hands, Sanji included. He will accept any opportunity to lose weight. This is what happened to Sanji when he allowed him to escape so that he could drown at sea. In desperate circumstances, Judge is also capable of feeling fear and despair.

Judge considers his own 👶 children as tools to increase the Vinsmoke’s respect and 💥 power. On the contrary, he has great respect for his other four 👶 children because of their strength and does not intend to entrust them to Big Mom for this. Judge didn’t respect his wife when she was still living. Sora’s opinions, as he forced her to undergo experiments to genetically modify the 👶 children she was carrying.

Big Mom

Judge’s intention to form an alliance with Big Mom was to help him regain the northern ocean. Judge doesn’t like Big Mom as a person, as he calls her mentally unbalanced and does not intend to let his 👶 children, with the exception of Sanji, marry a member of his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family. Judge plans to make Pudding his hostage to stop her double-crossing him. He breaks down when he realizes the woman wants to kill his entire family.

Vegapunk

Judge, a former Vegapunk’s collaborator, had tried to develop technological 🔫 weapons with him while they were part of a foreign research team. They discovered the lineage factor which led to the intervention of the World Government by capturing Vegapunk and disbanding the research team. Judge continued his experiments after escaping without Vegapunk.

Strength and Skill

As head of the Vinsmoke 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family and ruler of the Kingdom of Germa, Judge possesses great political 💥 power and wealth. As the supreme commander of Germa 66, he is able to control a large military force as well as its advanced technology. He could also take part in the Reverie, and have some influence over the World Government. He was so impressed that he was able to change the bounty wording for his son and gave some orders to the Navy. After trying to align himself with them, he was denied these privileges. Big Mom. Judge, together with his army, was also able to subdue four North Sea nations. All of his titles and 💥 powers also made him infamous in the underworld.

He was skilled in combat and could fight with his son on an equal basis. Sanji, a pirate who had a bounty amounting to 177,000,000. Judge was praised by soldiers who were watching the fight and marveled at his ability to hold his own.

After being struck by Zeus’ lightning bolt, he showed great stamina and survived.

Scientist Skills

Judge, who had worked with scientists like Vegapunk, was once well-known for his genius in an illegal research and technology development team. Judge, along with the former, discovered the blueprints for the creation of life, which he attributed to inherited genetic factors. An expert geneticist, Judge continued his research on the lineage factor using his knowledge of genetic manipulation and cloning techniques even after the World Government captured Vegapunk. His 👶 children and the soldiers of Germa 66 are in fact Judge’s experimental successes, as his 👶 children, with the exception of Sanji, were genetically modified as 👶 children to have unlimited potential, while his soldiers are clones built and programmed to be loyal and fearless.

Histories

Past

Judge was a genius scientist who worked with a group of outlaw researchers to find ways to make Judge’s ideas a reality. Vegapunk, Queen, studying hereditary genetic factors. The World Government found this to be dangerous and so they banned it. Vegapunk. They had the other scientists and Judge arrested. Judge was able to escape and continue his genetic research in the kingdom of Germa. He created clone soldiers for his army. He led the group to increase Germa’s influence in northern seas, decimating four kingdoms, and their respective rulers.

He married Sora twenty-two years ago, and they had a daughter, Reiju.

When she was three years old and pregnant with his second wife, Judge decided to modify the hereditary genes of the four fetuses, as well as the genetics of Reiju. This would make them more resilient and stronger, as well as deprive the unborn of their emotions. Sora opposed this because he didn’t agree that his 👶 children didn’t feel emotions, but Judge was interested in them making him win 🛡️ wars. Sora tried to stop him by taking a drug that would eventually lead to her death.

Ever since they were 👶 children, Judge encouraged his five sons to train hard, so they could develop their skills and eventually become commanders of the army. Germa 66. However, Sanji, due to his mother’s medication and the fact that he cooked meals for civilians, made him a failure. Judge, instead of defending him, punished him for his weakness and he blamed him for Sora’s death.

Judge noticed that Sanji wouldn’t get better and faked his death. Judge locked Sanji up in the kingdom’s dungeon with an Iron Mask and ordered him to be given food and drinks.

Six months later, Judge made the climb up the Red Line with his kingdom. He set out to reach the eastern ocean in order to travel in three weeks to Cozia to destroy it. Sanji was aided and freed from his cell by Reiju. Judge discovered him, and ordered him to go to sea to die. He also asked him not to reveal that he was his own son to avoid being approached.

Judge pressured Navy headquarters for Sanji’s capture after he earned his first bounty.

The Saga of Zo

Following the fall of Do Flamingo, the two factions fighting a 🛡️ war in Broccoli can no longer supply themselves with 🔫 weapons, so one of them contacts Germa. Judge entrusts it to Niji and Ichiji.

He was soon followed by Big Mom. They decide to forge an alliance and organize the wedding between Sanji & Pudding. Judge increases the bounty of his son, and also replaces “only alive” with “dead or living”.

Whole Cake Island Saga

The ships of the Kingdom of Germa arrive at Whole Cake Island. Tamago presents him with explosive bracelets. The key to these bracelets is in Big Mom’s possession to make Sanji wear so he doesn’t leave the island. A recent photo of Zef to help in case Zef rebels.

Judge then approaches Sanji and challenges him to a duel against Yonji. Judge then uses the advanced technology in his Raid Suit against him and is able to capture him. Sanji can use Ambition and Diable Jambe. Judge is protected by three of Judge’s subordinates when the pirate counterattacks. He will also use his spear to strike his son with one of his underlings.

Judge confesses after the confrontation that he views Sanji as a way to make an alliance with Big Mom, and so conquer the northern sea. Reiju puts the explosive bracelets onto his brother, and Judge discovers how they work.

Judge welcomed Niji and Ichiji, their firstborns, to Whole Cake Island the next day. Shortly thereafter, he ends an argument between Sanji & his brothers by threatening the former to have Zef executed if they don’t cooperate.

Later, Judge and his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family travel to Big Mom’s castle between the ceremony and the reception for Sanji and Pudding. Judge instantly recognizes Nami, Rufy and the carriage as they travel along. Sanji is reached by the pirate, but he pushes him away aggressively, claiming that he is a prince of the kingdom of Germa, denying the Straw Hat crew. Rufy is then struck repeatedly by his former companion and Judge smugly watches the scene before resuming the crossing with his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family. Judge eats lunch with his family after reaching the castle. Big Mom and Pudding. Afterwards, LinLin shows the Vinsmokes the collection of creatures she owns thanks to Mont d’Or’s 💥 powers, and when Judge points out that Tottoland lacks giants, Big Mom gets impatient. The Empress leaves as soon as she is told otherwise. Rufy and Nami are captured.

Yonji asks them where their next home will be. He replies Germa. Big Mom will be remembered in the future. When Niji explains that the Empress, Ichiji suggests that they might also be interested in a hostage. She points out that even though she threatened to kill Sanji with a gun, they would not move. The three of them then toast together.

The bartenders Big Mom sent collapse drunk. Yonji then criticizes them and they talk about Nami and Niji. Judge then orders his sons not to drink and states that the Empress will support the Germa in their return to the north sea. He continues to state that Sanji is a useful man despite being a failure. Everyone continues to laugh and toast after they have had their turn.

They attend the tea reception the next morning, however Judge accidentally killed the priest in the attempted assassination attempt on Sanji’s life, causing Perospero to become upset. Following the arrival of Rufy and his allies, Perospero immobilizes the Vinsmoke with his 💥 powers and orders them to surround them and point guns at them. Judge understands that Big Mom wants to kill his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family, so he bursts into tears, asking the Empress why.

Just before the Vinsmokes are killed, Rufy shows Big Mom Carmel was traumatized by the destruction of her photo, and she triggers the Alarm. To conquer the King’s Ambition, which knocks out the torturers, allowing Sanji and his allies to free them and hand over the technological 🔫 weapons they couldn’t bring to the ceremony. Judge and his sons then don their battlesuits and enter Bege’s fortress. Big Mom begins to hit it violently. Judge asks Sanji if they were saved by him. He listened to his son and replied that he would not harm the Baratie residents. He also stated that he and his sons would keep the Baratie safe. Big Mom’s Pirates. The others were able to flee if they were not occupied. Outside, he attacks Reiju and Judge, but the latter also breaks his spear and her helmet. Judge and his opponents quickly defeat him, but the fairy chest explodes at that point, causing the castle of Whole Cake Island to fall. Niji, Yonji and Judge manage to rescue Judge from the chaos and take him to Germa.

Later, he receives medication and a bandage covering his right eye. He then runs with the entire kingdom to Cocoa, where he attacks all the Pirates of Big Mom ships. When Charlotte Smoothie’s fleet attacks, Judge orders the Thousand Sunny to attack the ships. After insulting Sanji, Judge asks Rufy what he is doing. Rufy then gets annoyed when Rufy thanks him for his help and simply greets him.

Later, Charlotte Snack, Judge prepares for battle when Germa and her underlings land upon Germa. Soon thereafter, Germa 66 and Sun Pirates are able to run into the Empress.

After being scolded by Sanji, he broke a picture of his wife and Sanji, while cooking food for a mouse. Judge was furious when the man brought flowers to the grave of his mother and gave him additional training.

Saga of Whole Cake Island

The beginning of the confrontation between Judge and Sanji is displayed during which the supreme commandant of Germa 66 throws a sword at his son for him to use.

When he reaches the castle with his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family, Bege states that in order to continue, they must be searched and leave their 🔫 weapons, including Raid Suits. The three sons of Judge prepare to fight. Judge then intervenes and states that they will comply with the order, since it came from Big Mom.

At the ceremony he has a dialogue with Big Mom about how their 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family will become the strongest and most feared in the world. When chaos breaks out caused by Rufy’s copies, Judge is assured by Perospero that the Charlotte 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family will take care of it. The manga shows Germa’s ruler expressing his disgust at Rufy’s actions to save Sanji after Brook destroyed Carmel’s photo. This is what happens in the anime. Later, Judge asks Perospero that his 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 family be given their 🔫 weapons.

After putting on the Raid Suit, he defeats Joscarpone, Mascarpone, Tablet and Mascarpone easily. He immediately attacks Katakuri after he leaves the fortress. He also defeats three pirates, who were about to attack Caesar. Judge kicks Big Mom after she has destroyed her spear.

Right after Niji and Yonji intervene, Big Mom kicks Judge. This is the moment Niji and Yonji take him from the falling castle.

After reaching Cocoa, Judge orders his subordinates to open fire on Big Mom’s Pirate ships. Judge confronts Snack after he has ordered him to invade the castle. Judge seems to have succeeded. After this, Judge orders them all to flee to South Africa, where the enemy arrays are weaker.
