In MHA, Denki Kaminari, also known as Stun Hero: Lightning Bolt, is a Class 1-A student at U.A. Academy. He trains to become a professional hero.

Appearance Denki Kaminari

Denki is a blonde with light yellowish, medium-length hair. It’s parted on the side, which is in the center. From the left-hand part of his head, on his bangs which take up the entire face and even a part of his eyelid, there are black strands that look like lightning bolts. Kaminari has thin, light, and short eyebrows that tend to be slanted.

Kaminari’s eyes are triangularly shaped. He’s taller than average but is rather thin in comparison to other students in the academy.

In school, he wears his U.A. Academy uniform – a white shirt with a red tie, the school’s gray jacket, featuring dark green stripes, just a top button and a red tie. Dark green pants, and brown thick-soled boots.

The first costume he wore consisted of a white shirt and a black jacket that was unbuttoned with white zipper lines and black pants that had the same white lines that ran through his legs. He carried a radio antenna in one of his left ears, giving him more control over his personality.

The new suit is comprised of white T-shirts that have V-necks, and a black jacket that has a standing collar with identical white lines that appear to be more like the zippers on his collar and the bottom line. Additionally, white zippers are affixed to the shoulders of each and are equipped with yellow trim.

Personality Denki Kaminari

Denki is a group of peers, trying to portray himself as an admirer. Denki isn’t particularly successful in this, and is often rebuffed or dismissed. He can also be arrogant and sometimes a bit twisted and sometimes joins Minoru Mineta with his jokes.

Denki isn’t very bright at school, and requires assistance in his academics. Denki is not interested in class and is likely to feel anxious prior to tests. However, he is able to demonstrate a vast expertise in a field like literature. The lack of wit in his work is frequently a source of criticism, particularly in the case of Kyoka Jiro.

In the event of combat, he quickly begins to get anxious. He doesn’t like to employ his quirk if his friends are around him, as he is afraid of harming them. However, when he is sure that his friends won’t be affected by his quirk, he becomes more assured of his capabilities. He doesn’t enjoy it when people look at his peers.

If Denki produces excessive electrical charge, his brain’s circuits shorten and he’s an irritable, giggling fool for around an hour. In this way, Denki always shows his thumbs in order to let people know that he’s alright.

Storyline Denki Kaminari

Arc of the Unforeseen Simulation Joint

Denki is in a mountainous area with Momo along with Kyoka. Denki tries to get help, but he is unsuccessful. After Kyoka is able to kick his body into one of the antagonists, Kyoka discovers a new purpose for his talent, turning into an incredibly powerful human. He’s afraid to utilize his talents to their maximum potential because his fellow classmates are all around him. However, the moment Momo makes an invisible sheet that secures Kyoka and Kyoka from electric currents using an inexplicably high voltage that can defeat the villains.

The villains manage to escape behind an ambush after which he holds Kaminari hostage and stops Momo as well as Kyoka’s resistance. The villain, however, is killed and Denki is released. After the fight between The Villain Alliance, he is recognized with his class.

Sports Festival Arc

After being informed by Shota that the Sports Festival is coming up, Denki says he plans to become a professional hero’s partner after the festival is over. Kyoka claims that many are assistants and do not have the chance to become Heroes and it appears like Denki is one such person, which dissatisfies Kaminari. In the obstacle race, Denki is ranked 24th and is able to move on to the next phase.

At the Cavalry Battle competition, Denki is paired alongside Shoto, Momo and Dark Shadow. Shoto gives Denki the position on the left side to prevent other contestants from coming towards them using his characteristic. Following it is over and the Cavalry Battle begins, Denki and his team will face off against Izuku.

Izuku’s team. A minute prior to the stage’s end, Denki uses Reverse Acceleration which lets him accelerate at a staggering speed and then speed past the team of Izuku which gives Shoto the chance to win the armband worth $10 million. Denki’s team wins first place at the Cavalry Battle, and they can advance onto the following stage.

In a one-on-one fight, Denki fought against Ibara. Within the first couple of seconds during the fight, Ibara wraps her vines around Denki to stop Denki from moving and utilizing his quirk. In a state of panic, Denki tries to escape by using his quirks, however it winds up short-circuiting and the quirk is able to knock Kaminari off the competition.

Arc of Internships

In class, Shota shows the number of pro-offers that students have received. She also states the fact that Denki is the recipient of 272 offers. Students in Class 1-A have to pick their own hero names. Denki chose his own name for his hero: “Shocking” Electrozoom Hero. After Class 1-A has completed making up the names of heroes, Denki receives a personal list of places Denki could intern.

As the internship comes to an end, Denki returns to U.A. As a class member, Denki talks to Minoru of his experiences and noting the fact that Izuku, Shoto, and Tenya have seen more transformation than the others.

Final Exam Arc

In the week prior to the test, Denki and Mina acknowledge that they didn’t study due to a variety of incidents that occurred during the course of the semester. Izuku and Tenya suggest Denki to try his best to be prepared for the test, and Shoto says that if Denki had not skipped class, he might not have received a poor grade.

In the classroom, Izuku speaks about the things that are expected to happen during the practical section that will make Denki and Mina quite content, as they don’t have to resort to their quirks to get rid of people. In reality, however, for the task they will have to battle with the teacher in pairs. Denki’s opponent is Mina while Denki’s opponent is Nezu..

School Trip Arc

After shopping on the day, Shota informs us that the location of summer camp is being changed and won’t be revealed until the time of leaving. The term is over and summer vacation starts.
Everyone travels by bus to camp.

After an hour of travel, the bus stops at a parking lot but there’s no bus of Class 1-B at hand. A group made up of Professional Heroes, the Wild, Wild Pussycats, are seen before the students. Shino informs the students that the training camp is located at the base of a mountain that is situated in the territory that is owned by the Wild, Wild Pussycats.

Arc of the Hero Licensing Exam

When Seiji transforms Katsuki into a meatball, Denki decides to battle him to get Bakugo and Kirishima as well. Seiji is able to attack Denki by using his quirk and then the latter throws something at the opponent which is actually a Bakugo grenade.

This is what stops Seiji from attacking, since he’s convinced that Katsuki is now neutralized and is not able to use explosives and then realises that Bakugo had given some of his weapons to Denki while they were conversing. In the midst of this, Denki points a finger at Seiji, from which an electric beam is released, thus taking out Seiji.

Denki claims that he is unable to determine how he directs his electrical energy which is why the new gadget Mei created for him allows him to control his individual characteristic. Katsuki did not use large explosions as he didn’t want to harm Kirishima and, even though Bakugo is extremely reckless and seems to be uncaring about the people in his vicinity, he is more serious than everyone else in his quest to be the hero.

Denki declares that Seiji does not have the right to ridicule them, since Seiji is not aware of anyone. In response, Seiji insists on letting them know where they stand.

Quirk And Abilities Denki Kaminari

Quirk
Electrification (Dai TaiDian den Taiden?): Denki’s Quirk permits him to protect his body from electricity. When it exceeds its power limit, it causes his brain to short-circuit.

General Abilities.
Strategic Thinking While Denki is not among the most intelligent students in Class 1-A, Denki has a certain amount of tactical and strategic skills. In his time in the Joint Training Arc, he came up with strategies to beat Ibara Shiozaki, one of the most formidable students in Class 1-B. After gaining knowledge from his first encounter with her in a sports celebration that Ibara’s vines were resistant to electricity, Denki permitted himself to play the role of bait and to be the only person in the process of producing enough power to divert all the interest of the other team. Denki’s strategy permitted Hitoshi Shinso to stealthily brainwash Ibara and Tsuyu Asui snatched her up before taking down Hiryu Rin and then defeated Jurota Shishida. Overall, Denki’s inventiveness, which led to the victory of his team, is remarkable when the circumstances call for it.

Fighting Techniques.
