In My Hero Academia, Fumikage is a comparatively shorter character, sporting an avian head and razor-sharp “hair”, a short beak, and human teeth. In other ways, his body is the same as the human body.

Personality Fumikage Tokoyami Mha

Fumikage is reserved, determined, and focused, firmly refusing to answer questions or requests which appear insignificant to him. Once he is part of Izuku’s squad, Fumikage slowly transforms and becomes more social.

He is a fan of the dark and everything it has to do with it. But, he’s ashamed of his choices and is reluctant to show his peers the dark room he has.

Fumikage is aware of his limitations and is able to slow down quickly. Fumikage will take any advice he receives and utilizes it to strengthen his quirk, and to improve his techniques.

Kurogiri took Fumikage into the Thunder Zone with Koji. The fights between them weren’t shown, however, they fought the villains that were attacking them.

Arc of the Sports Festival

In the course of the obstacle race, Fumikage avoids Shoto’s trap by using an ability. He and Hanta utilize their quirks to get through all of the Villain Robots and make it to the next zone by following Katsuki. He ends with a 7th place finish, giving him the chance to participate in the next round.

Fumikage joins forces with Izuku, Ochako, and Mei in the Battle of the Cavalry and is its leader. When the stage starts, they’re caught in a quirk invented by Juzo. However, Izuku quickly navigates them out of the trap and they are released with the help of jetpacks, which take them to the sky.

The Arc for Passing Practice

Two days after the Sports Festival, Aizawa informs all students that they will get a week of training in hero organizations, and they have to think of hero names in order to be eligible for. Shota shows the number of professional offers students have received and reveals the fact that Tokoyami was offered 360 times. Fumikage’s hero title is “Hero of Absolute Darkness: Tsukuyomi.”

After receiving an agency list to which he is requested, Fumikage closes his eyes and starts to think about the location he would like to work. Fumikage arrives at the station with the rest of his class to head to the agency that he would like to work at. After completing his internship, Fumikage is back in Yuei.

The Final Test of Arc

Everyone talks about the coming final exam. Denki and Mina acknowledge that they were not studying because of the various incidents that took place throughout the course of the semester. When the time comes for the exam, the Headmaster informs students that they have to overcome Yuei’s instructors in order to get through. Fumikage’s teammate is Tsuyu, and Ectoplasm becomes his opponent.

Fumikage, Tsuyu, and Ectoplasm are taken to an abandoned city in which the real portion of the test takes place. Inside one of the town’s structures, Ectoplasm says that the boys are given 30 minutes to be handcuffed or quit the scene. After a heated confrontation with the teacher, they are able to pass the test.

When he returns to class, Fumikage finds out that he’s passed the test on paper and is now eligible to attend the summer camp. The next day, he and his classmates go to the mall for the essential items required to attend camp.

Vacation Arc

After shopping, Shota is informed that the location for summer camp has changed and won’t be revealed until the time of leaving. The school year is over and summer vacation starts.

Everyone travels on a bus for summer camp. One hour into the adventure, they stop at a tiny parking lot, however, the Class 1-B bus isn’t visible. Then, a group consisting of Professional Heroes, the Wildcats, appear before the students. Shino is able to inform them that the camp is located at the base of a mountain that is located on the land that is owned by the Wildcats.

The next day, Class 1-A is held outside the lodge. Shota greets the students and informs them that they’ll practice to enhance their quirks. This will aid them in passing the hero license test.

Quirk And Abilities Fumikage Tokoyami

Dark Shadow (Hei Ying (dakushiyadou) Daku Shadou) is Fumikage’s quirk. His body functions as a container for a shadow creature that he can transform into. Fumikage is able to use the shadow monster for a variety of reasons, including combating and protecting. This shadow is highly intelligent and has a limit at which point it is returned into the form of the person who has the quirk.

The strength of the dark shadow is contingent on the amount of light in the area. The shadow is less powerful and more manageable during the day, and more powerful, however, it is more difficult to control at night.

• Black Ank An ability (formerly called The Body of the Gloomy Abyss) that permits Fumikage to utilize the shadow to protect himself or create an exoskeleton to mitigate his physical weakness.
• Astonishing Twilight Claw: Fumikage unleashes a dark shadow claw that strikes with amazing speed.
• Dark Fallen Angel: A technique that was developed through his training with Hawk. By wrapping the shadow inside a cloak, it is wrapped around Fumikage which lets him fly.
• Ragnarok: In the daylight, Tokoyami uses all the potential power of his Quirk and is able to control himself. This is a powerful attack. Utilizing this method, Fumikage was able to defeat Rikiya Yotsubashi (Re-Destro) by breaking his mechanically constructed legs.

General Abilities: Fumikage is considered one of the most powerful students in Class 1-A. He defeated Momo (who was selected on an individual recommendation). Izuku is also aware that Fumikage is extremely strong when it comes to one-on-one fights. Fumikage was proven to be a skilled strategist: he defended the weak chariot zone at the sporting event and seized the Shoto armband whenever the chance was presented. Tokoyami was able to take on Katsuki despite the fact that the battle was sure to be a loss, because the explosions produce light, which isn’t good for Fumikage’s quirk.

Katsuki Bakugo

They’re neutral. Katsuki loved the fight with Fumikage, and Tokoyami, even though he doesn’t like Bakugou’s brutal style of fighting, doesn’t dislike Bakugou for the same reason. Katsuki was dissatisfied that their personalities don’t blend well in combat, likely because he views Fumikage as an excellent opponent.

Koji Koda

They fought against the Villain Alliance in the USJ, and Koji is one of the people who is aware of Fumikage’s weaknesses.

Izuku Midoriya

Fumikage appreciates Izuku in his role as leader, and Izuku also respects the strength of Tokoyami and his peculiarities. At the training camps, Mezo along with Izuku try to help him gain control of his quirk. When Fumikage is kidnapped, Izuku pursues the villain in order to rescue Fumikage.

Tsuyu Asui

Sometimes, they’re paired to take part in trials and training exercises. They were paired during the test for combat and in their final exam. They are respectful of their fellows and perform as a team even though it’s not frequently.

Mezo Shoji

Following Mezo losing one of his legs, Fumikage flew into a fury and his quirk took out of control. Izuku and Mezo attempted to assist Mezo regain control of his behavior, and they were able to do so by bringing in Katsuki as well as Shoto. They’re in good relations.

Hawk
