PERSONALITY MUICHIRO TOKITO

Muichiro is a man who appears to be lost in his thoughts, but does not pay attention to any single thing. He is often numb and a bit silly. Muichiro tends to think exclusively of himself and operates on reason and not letting feelings guide him. However, he has been proven to be a serious person when needed and is dedicated to his job as the Mist Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. On the other hand, he appears to display an arrogant and cold side and smacks Kotetsu down and accuses him of being stupid and claiming the time he spent as Hashira was crucial, as was the fact that “all” swordsmiths could do was use weapons.
At one time, Muichiro was very much like his father, a cheerful and compassionate man. Yet, he was able to approach the training process with passion in his soul, never taking any precautions at all. When his brother was killed by a Demon, Muichiro lost his memory and was possessed by a pervasive rage that was deeply suppressed in his soul, which eventually led to his subsequent intensive training. In the aftermath of this loss of memory, Muichiro started to exhibit the uninterested attitude he has as Hashira.
In the near future, Muichiro is likely to become more emotional and his actions will display a hint of sarcasm as well as complacency towards Gyokko, the Fifth Upper Moon.

HISTORY MUICHIRO TOKITO

Muichiro, along with his twin brother Yuichiro, was born to a family of lumberjacks. At the age of ten, their mother was extremely ill. The bronchitis she contracted eventually became fatal and she passed away within her hospital bed. Prior to that, their father was concerned about his wife’s health and, despite the snowstorm, he set out to get medicine and medical assistance. However, on the adventure to the village, he fell off a cliff and crashed into the ground, causing him to die.
The two of them survived. Muichiro had a gentle personality like his father. However, his brother, who was judged with a straight face and was often rude, was always adamant. There were times when they argued because of their distinct personalities, which is why Muichiro struggled to coexist with his brother.
As spring rolled in, Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s wife, Amane, found them and offered them the chance to become members of The Demon Slayers. Muichiro was dismayed by the manner in which Yuichiro was adamant about the invitation, and he refused it. In a fury, Yuichiro blamed his parents’ overzealousness and generosity for their demise, noting that they ought to make all their decisions with a clear head. Muichiro did not manage to convince his brother to sign up with the group.
Amane visited the twins regularly. However, every time Yuichiro ran after her. At the start of summer, a demon walked into their home. In the process of protecting his brother, Yuichiro was struck by a hammer, and Muichiro was in a fit of rage and beat the demon to death on the street using everything that he could lay his hands on, from logs to tools.
When he got back home, he found his bloody brother crying out to God for his life. Yuichiro was talking about how kind his brother was, and how he would do anything to help other people, and that he was being a hindrance to his efforts. Muichiro was holding him by the arm but Yuichiro was already dying and then stopped breathing. Then they discovered Amane as well as her daughters and they took Muichiro in for treatment.
In the aftermath of these events, he lost a lot of his memories. He began his career in the demon hunting field with The Demon Slayers. Muichiro could turn into an exemplary pillar in a short time. According to Uzui Tengen, Muichiro became a pillar within just about two months following his joining of the organization. One day, he gets to meet Kyojuro Rengoku and is advised by Kyojuro Rengoku to try his best to become a good pillar.
Muichiro’s memory was obscure until the events at the village of the blacksmiths. He began to recall the images of his brother, as well as other events from his previous life.

SMITH VILLAGE ARC

Muichiro first shows up at Muichiro’s first scene in Pillar Assembly after an incident at Mount Natagumo. Then, he gets into a heated debate with Kotetsu within his Smith Village. He tries to persuade Kotetsu to grant his key for Yoriichi Zeroshiki by striking him when he does not accept. Tanjiro is on the scene, grasping his arm and attempting to crush him, just as he dealt with Genya Shinazugawa following the final decision. To his delight, however, Muichiro does not budge despite his diminutive size and arms that are thinner. Instead, he kicks Tanjiro on the stomach, criticizing him for his weaknesses. He notices the box that is on his back and pulls it out of his grasp, feeling the demon. However, Tanjiro is able to slap him on the arm and warns the smith not to touch it, thereby rescuing Kotetsu away from his grasp. Kotetsu persists in refusing even when he is tortured and Muichiro is sternly rebuked for his words, telling him that he’s taking Pillar’s time, and Smiths are only useful to make weapons. Tanjiro is furious at Muichiro’s rude attitude. However, he is confused by the two.
After Tanjiro is healed, he rides with Kotetsu to observe Muichiro wrestle the mechanical doll and watching him smash it. Muichiro is able to do a great workout and then takes one of Zeroshiki’s swords asking Tanjiro to remove the broken sword. Tanjiro doesn’t feel any anger from him, however Tanjiro is still annoyed by his conduct.

In the course of the week, Muichiro takes a smack from Tanjiro to get him to sleep and inquires of the location of Kozo Kanamori, his new swordsman. When Tanjiro proposes to accompany Muichiro to locate Kozo Kanamori, the latter inquires why he chose to do so. Tanjiro says that helping others could result in a positive effect on him, which causes Muichiro to feel an easiness, and he inquires Tanjiro about what he recently said. Before he is able to do so, Nezuko wakes up and starts interrupting their discussion, Muichiro contemplating where he was last seen before. Their conversation is interrupted by the appearance of The Fourth Upper Moon, Hantengu.
Muichiro immediately takes on Hantengu with the Breath of Mist.
Fourth Form: Advection Strike. Hantengu dodges the attack and Muichiro speaks about his speed, threatening him again following Tanjiro and cutting the head of his opponent. Tanjiro is recalled of the fight along with Daki and Gyutaro, shouts at Muichiro to stay focused as Hantengu is split into two pieces: Sekido as well as Karaku. Karaku fights Muichiro and knocks him off the structure into the forest.
While he hurries back into the village, Muichiro notices Kotetsu being assaulted by an evil spirit. He considers whether to help him. But then he recalls Tanjiro’s words, and kills the demon, directing Kotetsu to flee. After Kotetsu is sincerely grateful to the demon and mourns his earlier dislike of him, Muichiro’s past memories drive him to keep going as he remembers being treated by The Ubuyashiki Family.
Kotetsu takes Muichiro to the spot where Kozo is. When Kozo starts to walk towards the barn in order to retrieve his new blade, Muichiro is able to pull back and spies the Fifth Upper Moon, Gyokko. Muichiro is threatening him. However, Gyokko is able to move to various pots and dodges his punches. He summons additional fish demons which deliver needles towards Kozo and Kotetsu. However, Muichiro protects the two and directs them to keep them from getting in the way. Gyokko warns them that the needles are poisonous and insults Muichiro and causes him to experience a flash of memory of the past. He attempts to attack Gyokko. However, he is snared with Gyokko’s Demonic Blood Art, Pool of Hell. Muichiro’s effort to get past by using Breath of Mist, the First Type: Rising Sky, Distant Mist is unsuccessful. While he is contemplating his imminent death, he hears his father’s voice coming through Tanjiro’s body. Kotetsu is quick to arrive and help him breathe in air to allow him to escape with Breath Of Mist Second Form Layered Mist and he remembers the fact that his dad had said the exact same thing Tanjiro previously said.

After having escaped from the prison of water, Muichiro’s recollections of his past come back. His anger over his brother’s passing manifests through his demon-killer marks along with his speed and strength growing exponentially when he walks into the barn and confronts Gyokko and comments on his relaxed appearance. Gyokko responds by launching his Art of Demonic Blood, the Hell Pot Octopus, and Muichiro’s sword breaks when he attempts to cut it. He is prompted by Kozo to give the new blade. Muichiro is able to cut through the demon’s attack and thank Kozo with a smile, but he responds that he was following the advice of the late Tetsuido. When he mentions Muichiro’s name, Muichiro thinks of his blacksmith’s discomfort and then apologizes for his actions, stating that he’s good and is using Breath Of Mist, Fifth form: Sea of Cloud Mist which strikes Gyokko with his neck. Muichiro as well as Gyokko begin to smack one another, Gyokko becoming angry after Gyokko insults his pot. The other form he uses is Demonic Blood art, Ten Thousand Sliding Clayfish. However, Muichiro quickly retaliates against him using Breath of Mist, which is the sixth form of Moon Mist and Breath Of Mist Third Form: The Wind Scattering Mist, which severs the demon’s head that is molting before he runs away to the forest.

This is an increase in strength to allow him to not just take on the body that is heavily poisoned, however, to easily eliminate the Upper Moon. But as soon as the mark was gone, the man immediately began to feel the effects of poison.
WEAK POINTS
